Mushishi S2 – best show ever created. etc etc. excellent storytelling, music, design, backgrounds and atmosphere. ep1 good introduction to the series even if you never watch any before. good shit.
Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to – 5 minute show about mangaka and his female assistants, comedy, low-level comedey mild boobs, kinda crap, whatever
Oreca Battle – children garbage bullshit. cardgame, horibble everything, concept, design, characters, animation, sound. so shit lol
Black Bullet – not bad show. future, alien invasion, post-apocapltic world, after fight off alien, humans still around, live in only some parts of world. aliens infect women, women give birth to girls, only girls, girls hybrid alien/human and and kill aliens. hard to kill aliens, only girls can fight them. main guy saw some shit when he was a kid, paired up to loli hybrid girl. girl pretty cute. fight. in ghetto mercanary organization to fight aliens, not bad. good char design, concept, ok animation. not bad but not really my thing.
Hero Bank – children garbage bullshit. one of the only shows that was so bad i turned that shit off after 5 minutes. can’t stand it, so stupid and dumb. bad everything. whatever
Hitsugi no Chaika – basically princess loli girl with a weird speech patterns/habbits is a wizard and carries around a coffin with inside is a big sniper rifle/magical gun. meets some faggot and his sister, sister is ok. travel together about something. whatever. ok character design, medicore story, good monster design. drop
Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara – dude can see people’s intent as literal flags on top of people heads. sees love interest, friends, malintent, death, etc. meets girls. basically harem with a twist and minor drama. character designs are pretty good but i don’t like the way they are depected in the show, look kinda round and chubby. i think in still it looks great but the designs don’t look so goo once animated. comedy, lots of girls, etc whatever
Fuuun Ishin Dai Shogun – edo tokugawa period, alternate universe. mecha. stupid dude heir to tokugawa shogunate conquers some shit. pretty good designs, concept. the women look very attractive, too bad the show’s animation is almost non-existant, it’s just a glorifed powerpoint/flash animation with motion tweens, so bad. mecha animation is ok, design are cool but shit so bulky. had potential but wasted, bad.
Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka – best slice of life/ show about nothing show this season. girl goes to new town, kinda rustic/european looking, stays at a cafe, fun stuff, furball bunny. fun fun, comedy, nothing, good shit, good character design, pacing, concept. watching thsi show.
Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san – 5 minute show about 2 girls, one behaves/ looks like a dog but loves cats, the other looks/behaves like a cat but loves dogs. whateverr.
Blade and Soul – anime based off korean mmorpg. not bad. good character designs, good animation, concept still to early but i like what i see so far. fighting, fantasy, magic. will watch a bit more untill it gets too stupid
Atelier Escha & Logy – Alchemists of the Dusk Sky – anime based off ps3 alchemy rpg game of the same name. i haven’t played the game but so far it’s alright. pretty take it easy, 2 protag, girl and girl. girl is cute nice, guy is stern, kinda generic ghetto hero wannabe. maybe watch more
Haikyuu!! – show about vollyball. gay sports show targeted towards women pretty much like almost evey sports show in recent memory. whatever, generic stock concept, ok designs.
Knights of Sidonia – whatever. full 3dcg show. bad animation, really bad animation. character designs are ok, to bad full 3d. uses same model for generic background character, sad because generic background character design is pretty good, i had a hard time figuring out who what the main characters. mecha space. nice ending and opening songs tho, whatever
Mekakucity Actors – show that apparently has something to do with miku or vocaloid, not really sure but it’s pretty evident that one of the characters is pretty much miku. something to do with using miku digtal girl and fixing, fighting problems stuff. not really sure after one ep, could be worth a further watch, done by shaft, masters of great idea and artsy anime but low-buget quality, at least untill post-release on bluray/video.
Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin – speical city, filled with studently only mainly. sounds familar? that’s because it is. girl got killed like 10 years ago in apartment, girl and a group of friends were special to the island/city because they helped found it/build it. no one knew who killed her. new faggot guy comes in, moves into apartment of the girl that got killed, ghost of girl remains, funney ensues, chill about ghost etc etc. mystery. eventually want to find her “secret treasure” and who killed her etc whatever. ok concept, animation, ok girl character design, bad male design. whatever, not my thing.
so ovverall this spring season 2014 is a pretty rounded fare of shows
there’s pretty much something for everybody
