Things That I Hate and Like
For once I am getting my yearly anime round up ranking done early, wow. I usually kinda sit on this post because I am lazy but for some reason I am more motivated to write it, I think this is due to the fact that this year I brought a new laptop and can now …
Reject modernity, embrace ruin: I look at the clock, the time says 4:44pm on this seemingly mundane Wednesday, it’s almost time to pack up for today’s work; not that it means much these days. Despite my complaints and concerns it seems like the project that I had been working on for over a year now …
Having been delayed a good couple of months from it’s normal occurrence in May, Anime North returned on July 15-17 in the post-pandemic world. Having just being a few weeks after coming back from Anime Expo in LA, it’s hard to not compare conventions, after all, AN is the biggest Fan run convention in Canada, …

And so here it is, just under a month past the end of 2020 I finally finished writing this shit, this summary of what the hell did I watch for animu this past year. Despite the ruin, downs and downs of our past year in 2020, you would think that I would watch more anime. …
How did we get to this point. Why? 2020 is a year of unprecedented ruin in modern world history. COVID19 has been a world shaping event that showcases the frail nature of humanity and the underlying broken foundations of our society, politics, economy and indeed the corruption, selfishness and stupidity of humans in general. It …
