Alright then, I’ve been writing this big round-up review of my thoughts for the past few weeks now but after the Kyoto Animation fire arson tragedy, I feel somewhat compelled to finished this. To think that 33 of like 70 people in that building are dead with masters and original paper drawing and assets are destroyed is a devastating blow for Kyoani, which I have consistently called out as “The Best Animation Studio” for a long time now, consistently producing some of the best shows for the last 20 or so years and gaining critical acclaim for quality and storytelling. I’m not sure how they can survive and rebuild but hopefully they will get back on their feet despite loosing so many of their directors and best talent. Sad. I’m probably gonna donate some money to that go fund me, worst than 9/11, no joke, at least for the anime world and the Fukushima tsunami.

This season there is no Kyoto Animation show airing that I know of which is good, since the sadness will probably compell me to watch it even if it’s shit. Sad feelings aside, this season is pretty good, at least for me with lots of slice of life, comedy and even my cool science shit and manly swole guys AND Girls. Let’s see what we got:

Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e – Ok something something Animorphs werewolf science experiment soldiers semi furry action American civil war alternate universe revenge story discover the corruption politics show battle mystery. So yea, that pretty much more or less sums up this show. I’m sure it will be entertaining for some but for me it’s just blah, the character designs are less than inspiring and just downright ugly when the characters turn/transform into monster animals and the action is whatever. Cool, but not for me, not draw or appeal for me here other than the setting being a alternate universe American civil war period. Nope.

Sounan desu ka – Have you ever wondered what would happen or what you should do if you were stranded on remote tropical island? Have you ever watched Tom Hank’s Cast Away and thought to yourself, man this is hard shit but it could be fun, hard work but fun? Well, this show is for you, it’s basically just that, a bunch of four high school girls ended up crash landing at sea and get washed ashore a remote tropical island having to tough it out and survive. The girls are satisfy their required tropes of anime girl characters, the dumb but strong sports girl, the nervous glasses smart girl, the kind but tsundere princess and of course the stoic pro girl that for some reason knows everything about survival and carries the team. It’s all here, funny cute shit moments and knowledge of basic survival, this show is cross between man vs wild, survivor and comedy slice of life show with cute girls. Good shit. Too bad it’s a short show of only like 15 minutes. Great character design, good concept and jokes but interesting tips. Good shit, will watch for sure.

Tejina-senpai – Another good mini show about a girl with purple hair with big boobs that loves magic tricks and is trying to run a school magic club. What else do I need to say, show is jokes with the bulk of the show being a combination of the main girl, Tejina senpai trying her best to do magic tricks but failing horribly and somehow ending up in weird sexy lewd poses, panties and boob showing or inadvertently making lewd joke. The main boy is shit but whatever, you are here for magic boob girl, her boobs are very large and they show never hesitates to make them giggle and shine, which for some reason, her clothes are always shiny on her chest, which doesn’t make sense but whatever. Heavy flesh tooth on her which I like and personally very similar to Hotaru from Dagashi Kashi expect instead of being an expert of her field, she sucks and fails. Good shit, good concept and nice combo of flesh tooth and boob. Good shit, watch for sure.

Maou-sama, Retry! – Can’t believe this garbage was allowed to pass and be made into an anime. This show is probably one of the worst shows this season and can be easily summed up as bootleg Overlord isekai bullshit except way worse in every conceivable manner. Instead of being a pro gamer at the end of his online game ending like overlord, it’s the creator/developer seeing the end of his game and is transported to it. Instead of a demon skeleton wizard, dude becomes a long haired yakuza gangster boss which for some reason, is the game’s demon lord, which is retarded in itself since the world is clearly fantasy with dragons, knights, magic and shit. Then they introduce his rem/mash bootleg girl, which is exact the same character except blonde and less than half the animation frames and detail as everything, including fgo mash. Laughable animation and character designs, poor pacing, nonsensical character interactions, terrible running animations, no directions and bullshit motives. Same isekai bullshit but even more terrible. One of the worst this season.

Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru – This is great show about a garyou girl who eats too much and gets chubby fat and decides to go on a diet but fails and decides in order to lose weight she has to join a gym to exercise, cool cool; problem is that the gym she signed up for is for hardcore weight lifters and male body builders. Oh boy. So the comedy ensues when she sees another girl that goes to her school also sign up to the gym, the class president who is pretty much perfect already with grades, slender beautiful body, optimistic personality also wants to work out. Garyou main girl Hibiki soon finds out that class president is also insane and wants to become the most swole women in japan with bodybuilding and gets turned on by swole ripped muscles. lololol. They also meet their personal trainer which looks like a handsome pleasant prince wuss boy in his tracksuit but once he takes it off his body morphs to an ultra swole ripped body that doesn’t match his face. lolol. Aside from the comedy of Hibiki getting a crash shock course in how hard weight lifting is and some interesting advice and tutorial guide on weight training, it’s a very unique anime similar in vein to those mini shows about girls exercising but taking it to the next level with a story combined with, slice of life, comedy and a cast of beautiful cute girls working out. It’s incredible, a show for otaku that also work out, or rather a show that encourages otaku to go to the gym and get swole via cute girls. Excellent character design, cute funny girls humors, hyperbole, slice of life, good workout advice. Good shit. Watch for sure.

Joshikousei no Mudazukai – This is a good slice of life comedy show about school girls doing cute dumb things at school as expected. The main crew is composed of a wannabe manga artist, smart serious girl and dumb baka girl which is pretty balanced and solid. There are other characters like a little girl that looks like a loli and some other ones that you see in the background but have not yet been introduced yet. The animation and character designs are decent, fairly plain and simple but match with the dry kind of humor that the show delivers. It takes a while for jokes to get though since the show takes it’s time but when it works shit’s good. Good shit, will watch for sure.

Dr. Stone – This is a great show, a great science show, something which we haven’t seen in a while now, like actual science, not time travel alternate universe shit. So basically without giving too much away the show focuses on a guy known as Senku, a very smart guy and his gorilla friend, which is like some sports team muscle man that he is friends with. Some shit happens, some unknown light happens and what do you know, the entire human race has turned to stone, leaving human civilization to rot and decay into nothingness. Years go by, decades, centuries and even millennia go by with out any change until the gorilla friend somehow gets freed from his stone shell and awakens from his long rest. Unknown to him the changes, he searches for anybody, the world now covered in greenery and trees, unrecognizable to the Japanese city that he lived in. He has been perfectly preserved for thousands of years, still a high school student, not aged in the slightest. He searches for anybody and finds his friend Senku, also awaken from his rocky slumber and tells him, “I’ve been waiting for you, we have lots of work to do”, “What do you mean?”, “We need to find a cure, for the stone illness.” Thus the story begins for Dr Stone, a very science based survival adventure with very unique character designs, almost yugioh-like and moments of comedy and drama jammed in. High production values and a story that I’m sure would be great. Good shit, one of the more interesting shows of this season. Probably watch for sure.

UchiMusume – “A little girl begins her new life”, that’s the opening name of the episode and yea, I guess it is pretty accurate. So it’s like this, we are in a fantasy world with demons, knights and wizards shit and our main boy is walking in forest doing mild normal hero things like farming and whatever. Cool cool, he then encounters ragged little girl while resting at his campsite that doesn’t know anything and can barely communicate. A quick inspection of her by our boy and he tells us that his little girl is a demon, because of her little demon horns (no shit) and the old demon language she is speaking. Ok ok. Find out from girl that her dad is assumed dead, takes hero boy to body in the forest, buries the assumed dad. Sad sad. Ok ok, when morning comes takes her to town, go to bath house and inn, cleans her up, sleep rest, wake up give her dress and ribbon for hair to hide small horns. Tavern/inn keeper not mom/dad say “what you gonna do with her?” boy says something like, she’s too cute, i’m gonna adopt her and make her my daughter. Ok ok, sure sure. So yea, that’s where this show is going. A chill slice of life story with mild adventure featuring a cute little girl demon. lol. It’s so basic and straightforward, it’s almost refreshing. The designs are ok, kinda simple but you can tell they definitely spent money and time whenever they have the demon girl on screen. Probably watch more, see where this goes, not bad, it’s chill so I need more chill in my life. I dub this show, “My daughter is my Pet.”

Kanata no Astra – It appears there has been a recent trend of survival type shows and this one is a bit different, cause shit’s in space. So the name of this show in english is “Lost In Space” which is pretty self explanatory so to quickly go over things, bunch of high schoolers are supposed to go on a camping trip for a few days on another planet cause it’s the future and all but once they get to the planet they are sucked into a sphere warp portal and find themselves floating in space around an unknown planet and an empty spaceship nearby in orbit. They collect themselves and panic but try to figure out what they are supposed to do, find out that they are thousands of light years away from earth and there is no chance of rescue. The ship they happen to be on is slow but good enough to travel to nearby planets in order to collect food and shit, so that’s the plan, jump to planet to planet, collecting water food and whatever so they can survive while slowly make their way back home. The cast of character is mixed of guys and girls, all satisfying appropriate archetype roles such as leader believe boy, ditzy optimistic fun girl, smart guy with glasses, bitchy girl that has problems, low-self esteem girl with big boobs, edgelord boy who thinks he’s better than everyone else and a few others. The tone of the show is very mixed, going between slice of life, comedy, drama and action so it’s trying to be a show for everyone. The quality and animation is pretty good and character designs are ok too. Show is in like movie aspect ratio for most scenes for some reason, dunno why. It’s pretty different yet familar, so I’ll probably try to watch this the best I can, at least until it hopefully doesn’t go to shit in story or animation quality.

Granbelm – Fuck. This show would be so much better if it wasn’t for the very ugly ass SD Gundam like mechs that the girls use to pilot/drive. So this is basically a magical girl show with all the associated drama and battle royale type of fair of Madoka and magical girl raising project and i’m sure many many others except they fight in giant robots in a closed magical field/space/relm. You get the idea. The quality of the girl’s character design, both transformed and untransformed is pretty good and the quality of the animation is good too..BUT THE MECHS ARE SO UGLY. They are so round, fat and wide with questionable design choices you might think that they are a joke, but it’s not. All of the magical girls have them so yea, it’s shit. I dunno, it seems like such a waste to let this show go, but we’ll see. Unlikely to watch all but we’ll see, watch a few more just in case.

Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. – A shit slice of life/drama show that involves highschool girls thinking about sex and trying their best not to want it, but they actually honestly do, seriously. That’s basically it. The main cast are a bunch of girls who are in a book club at school and read romance novels and shit and get turned on by the stories and such but one day one of the members asks “what do you want to experience before you die?” and one girl says “sex”, and thus launches the montages and inner monologues of each girl and their perspectives on daily life when they hear their classmates had sex and so forth, accumulating at the end of the episode when main girl visits her childhood friend’s house and accidental barges in on  his private jerk session, resulting in her running out and yelling something along the lines of “I hattteee seeexxxxxx, I don’t wanna think about sexxxxxx, baaaaaahhhhhhh!!” Or so the story goes. This. Show. What the hell. Definitely authored by a women. 100%. Who is this for? Girls I guess? It’s shit. Bad quality, totally not fun, not funny, reflection inner monologue overload, bad designs, shit concept. I’m sure someone will love this shot but yea, it’s not for me.

Enen no Shouboutai – Fancy animated show about magical firefighters. The quality is probably higher than it should be and i’m sure this may attract alot of people to watch but it’s very shonen-ish and not in the way that appeals to me. For one thing the designs of the firefighter clothes is so shit and bulky, it’s just like a big poncho and fat, which is pretty similar to real firefighters but this is anime, I want some better designs. Second is that they have these blue stripes on their black clothes, it looks like shit and annoys me. The main character just wants to prove himself because his family is dead and everyone thinks he did it with his magical fire powers and he has this weird quirk that he grins smugly whenever he feeslsnervous, which is so stupid and retarded and the cause of everything to think he is a devil bad kid. Not bad show, but not enough here to worth my time. Pass. Delayed airing because of Kyoani tragety.

Lord El-Melloi II Case Files – So this is a spin off series of Fate following our wussy boy Waver into a big boy. Having not watched Fate Zero and the events of that series does not deter me in giving this show a go, it’s Waver the Anime to me and honestly it’s not bad but pretty slow paced. So we have our boi Waver all grown up now and not in FGO and he’s like solving mysteries and dispelling curses and shit with his Mashu clone Grey and a couple of blonde gay boys, cool cool. The quality of the animation is pretty good, nice character designs and crisp lines, once again, pretty slow but then again it’s probably because I know nothing about the background. Maybe watch more, we’ll see .

Hakata Mentai! Pirikarako-chan – Shit mini show about some crappy character that tries to sell and encourages you to eat local regional food such as Mentai and shit. Garbage pass, next.

Re Stage! Dream Days – Contrary to the name of this show, it is not gay, it’s actually a pretty chill cute mild comedy slice of life show about school idol club. Yea, I’ve heard that one before. But man, the name of this show is so deciving, it thought it was gay but I was so wrong, it’s not, should have called this just Stage Dream Days! but not, the re also makes it sound like a sequel, but it’s not. But in any regards, the quality is ok and the girls are ok although I feel that this kind of show is very subject to huge quality decreases over time, but we’ll see. I was a bit surprised that they animated normally a dance sequence and did not resort to 3d but yea well see. As for story, it’s the same idol shit, girl doesn’t know/want to be an idol, encounters club at school and is actually amazing at dancing/singing and gets lured etc. Maybe watch more, we’ll see.

Vinland Saga – Oh boy, holy shit this was needed. SOME MANLY AS FUCK MACHO BULLSHIT, HEELLL YEAAAAA. This is a show, a show about Vikings, from Finland and Norway from like back in the day, like you know, wayyy back when. So it’s about this boy and his dad, his dad used to be a super pro viking ruining and raiding shit but then ran away, he settled down and had his women have a boy and yea, living a father life.  Then one day some pro as fuck Jomsviking army appear and say yo, you ran away you better come with us or else, former lord commander gotta fight dem wars and shit cause valhalla calls. So then shit happens and the boy wants to go to war as well even tho he’s just a little kid and such. There is more to the story but the pacing is spot on, although admittedly, it is indeed slow. They released the first 3 episodes back to back for me to download so yea, i’m pretty up to date on this already. Solid story, interesting manly characters, funny wussy ass boy fodder to be killed, epic opening introduction and metal song, gets my full biased approval. Even better yet? Shit is based on REAL HISTORY. REAL EVENTS. OH SHITTT. REAL PEOPLE. FUCKK. Solid shit, will try my best to watch this but I dunno, if this shit goes on for like 50 episodes I don’t know if I can maintain it. Good shit tho, try to watch.

Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] – Let’s players survival game meets hunger games. Yea, the concept is interesting and could be good but the characters, style and pacing is pretty shit or just mediocre. The premise is that a bunch of let’s players get trapped into or kidnapped into another world, like some classroom and they have to do different things or else get killed by the gamemaster or whatever. The cast of characters of archtypes are there except contained into each respective gamer category, puzzle game girl is clam and asmr voice, rage aggressive hype boy plays fighting games, main smart boy plays mystery, tsundere girl plays horror spook games etc. Despite it’s promising concept, it’s just shit with forgettable dialog and overly complicated setups and lead into rules into what they are supposed to do. Not me but but it’s probably for someone.

Cop Craft – This show is about a slightly future world where some portal has opened and for some reason all of a sudden humanoid aliens, faeries and elf like people started coming to earth. All of the people are concentrated in some city of forgettable name. When we have a large city with many different kinds of people, or “Races” in the most accurately way possible, people get into fights and disputes, crimes happen and shit goes bad, bringing their otherworldly grudges and contraband into earth. Main boy is a cop that tries to keep the peace and fight that crime job, in a bad bust gone wrong to save a fairy in a jar being sold his partner is killed in action. After not much mourning and letting the culprit get away, he is assigned a new job, to escort and protect a VIP from the other world. Goes meets the VIP, turns out to be some cute princess of some kingdom with standard hime/rich girl attitude and properties but can do magic and shit/kinda fight. She is looking for the fairy that was kidnapped cause it’s important. Thus the premise of the show. The concept is interesting but it moves painfully slow, so slow. The character designs are based off illustrations of  famed artist Range Murata which did the original drawings for the source material, a light novel I believe. Which is cool but it doesn’t translate very well into the anime character designs. This is a show that is subject to quality degradation I think. Cool, but not really my thing, too slow as fuck. Shit.

Ensemble Stars! – Oh yea, finally got it right this time on prediction, gay boy idol show! Awww yeaaa, this shit is standard idol bishonen fare except based off a mobile game that has been running for a number of years now, I think 4 or 5 years now which is actually a very long time for an anime show to be made but whatever. The basic premise is girl joins school that is for Idol Producer school but it’s a newly co-ed school and there is no dedicated class to teacher yet for her so she has to be in the boy idol classes which is pretty much everyone, she’s the only girl in the school at this time. calllleeddd itttt So yea, the guy designs are better than average and there is the whole performance live stage battle thing going with for singing and dancing, all the while our mary sue observes and says a few words here and there just witnessing the jokes and drama unfold before her eyes. Yea, this is for women, but it’s not bad for what it is. Not for me.

Kochoki – Wakaki Nobunaga – Shit show about the younger days of Nobunaga when he was only a kid/teen known as something else, may or not be the title of the show but whatever. For what it is you would expect something cool, funny or at least decent pacing and interesting characters. NOPE, this show is pure shit, young nobunaga in the first episode is annoying and has lackluster motivations and friends. Shit happens and he gets scolded by his lord dad does some other brave shit, whatever. I think there is a time jump to teenager years or maybe they go back in forth from kid to teen but it’s so boring and dialogue heavy bullshit I have no interest in this. Plus I think it’s for women gay based off male designs. Of course it is. Shit designs, pacing, concept and story. Bad.

Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou – This show is terrible, probably down there with one of the worst of this season. Holy shit this shit is so bad. So, It’s another Isekai fare but the pacing, flow and tone of the show is so disjointed and confusing I don’t understand how anyone could remotely say that the first episode was anything but a disaster. So we start off with some boy, talking some shit and gets trapped in a tower dungeon cut off from his party. The party is all like oh noes, cue flashback from like 1 week ago, jump to scene even further in the past like 2 years ago, jump to present point of view, jump to 5 hours ago, jump to 1 hour ago, jump to 2 days ago, jump to boy’s current point of view, jump to his girl in the party’s current point of view, jump to 3 days ago, jump to present boy’s view etc. WHAT THE FUCK. And all this time, they have the most unreadable OLD English kind of huge text on the screen trying to label the timeline. But aside from pacing and flow fails, the boy gets stuck underneath some rocks and finds a water spring of holy water that heals him and sustains him. He is naturally weak but somehow manged to kill some magical beasts and vows to eat all the monsters he kills in order to gain power. He does so and increases his level and gains skills to create and fuse materials and shit, so he creates a magical gun. Wut. Oh and his hair turns to white and gets red eyes because the monsters he eats are poison and shit or too magical but doesn’t die cause holy water of course, edgelord up. This world is so weird, flashback show like school life days but it’s not of normal world, it’s of the magical world and then we have main boy using a gun and everyone else is with swords and magic shit? Fuck, the show doesn’t even say if he was from normal world, he was always here maybe? Worst, animation terrible, character designs shit, pacing horrendous, concept, done before by better shows. I watched the second episode to ensure it’s shit, yes, it’s still shit despite cute blonde vampire girl he gets. Shit.

HenSuki – Oh boy, this show’s real name is light novel worthy to along the lines of “Would you have a pervert girlfriend as long as she was cute?” or something like that. This is standard harem comedy fare with the main twist being that all of the girls have a “secret” kink that our stupid main boy tries to or unintentionally uncovers. It all really starts when he goes into his club room after school and finds a love letter to him with a pair of panties left behind enclosed in the package. So he goes on a journey trying to find who is his “Cinderella” and which one of the girls in his club left him the letter and panties. Cool cool, sure sure, the cast of girls is fairly standard with all the harem archetypes you can expect from this type of show but the main problem with this show is not the girls. The girls are fine with all their respective kinks and pervert tendencies which is the subject of each episode I can safely assume, the main problem is our main FAG BOY and how stupid he is. He is so happy about finally having the prospect of a girlfriend and he blindly doesn’t even realize that all 5 or 6 of the girls in his club ALREADY have a thing for him. Which of course he does in the effort to discover, “Cinderella” but in doing so, he exposes the girls secret sex fetishes, all the while the girls fawn over him and shit, WHILE STILL MAINTAINING he needs to find his one true love. BOY, ARE YOU BLIND OR WHAT? WHO GIVES A SHIT IF YOU FIND OUT WHO CINDERELLA IS, you have a girl just confessing to you her sex fetish and wanting you and you run away and dismiss her because she doesn’t match the profile you have in your mind? DAMN SON, WHY? Despite the heavy annoyance of the main boy, I feel like I owe this show a bit because I am curious what other kinks the girls have and if any of them are furry fags. lololol. The girls are pretty good design but the color palette and styling is a bit off putting but whatever, I have no problems with pacing or tone. Try to watch more.

Isekai Cheat Magician – Shit show about nothing isekai bullshit fare. The most purest of the pure, the most generic of the generic shows. I kinda can’t believe this one passed to be even made. Boy and girl are in japan street, gets transported to magical circle to fantasy world, gets picked up by some army crew, goes to town, signs up to become adventurers, does power tests, both of them have OP magical ability, become apprentices to other pro wizard woman. The end. Fuck. Bad everything, crap designs, crap idea, crap world, pacing, dialogue. He will probably get a party with a elf, another sword girl and mages and whatever but still, so generic can’t even. Shit bad show.

Machikado Mazoku – This is a excellent cute slice of life magical girl comedy show. OHHH YESSS, THIS IS WHAT I WANTED ALL ALONG. So we have a normal high school girl, she wakes up one day and has grown demon horns and a tail, after mild freakout her mom comes in and says, ohh dear, I knew this day might eventually come. Turns our her family is descendant of a demon clan but has had their powers sealed away and eroded over many years so today they just appear like normal humans with no powers and just a curse of forever being unlucky and poor. lol jokes. So as a newly minted demon girl her mom tells her she should go fight some magical girls to strengthen herself and awaken her powers, which of course, there are none at this time. So she goes around trying to find magical girls and her friend tells her oh, there’s one at school, she saved the world a few years ago. lol I guess demons and magical girls are a commonplace thing in this world. So she goes challenges the pink haired girl at school to a duel and of course our main demon girl is just so base weak, like normal weak, as a human, not even  counting human and our pink magical girl is kinda indifferent but chill. Without going any further, they basically become friends, kinda and rivals but not really. It’s a jokes comedy show with excellent character designs and very good animation and attrative lines and shiny faces. Good shit. Will watch this one for sure. Hell yeaaaa.

Given – Gay band boys. Main or maybe second main boy has a guitar, probably from his old boyfriend or sensei or whatever. He can’t play it, approaches another gay boy at school that has a guitar and asks him to teach him how to play it and is reluctant to do so. Why? Because he used to be like him, eager to learn but once he learned how to play everyone around him was shit and didn’t care anymore so he lost motivation to try hard. But this boy, for some reason awakens his spirit, and for some reason, yearns for his presence, to play guitar and be a gay boy with him. He introduces him to his shit band and they put on a good show and gets motivated. Thus the show’s premise, i love the guitar because of love this boy. The end. Not for me, but it’s for someone, good animation, music but yea, not for me.

Okaa-san Online – This show can be summed up as Isekai with my mom. It’s Okaa-san Online after all, which is not really the real name of this show, the light novel full name is something along the lines of “Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?” yeaaaaa. So it’s like this, some government women comes visits main boys home and his mom, which is assumed a single parent and tells them they have been selected to try a new online virtual game where you are transported into the game and such etc. Boy is overjoyed and goes but his mom also ends up following up behind and is a bit annoyed. Government women is all like, just as planned. So anyways main boy and his mom go through the usual tropes of being transported into a fantasy world, meeting the king, getting familar with the people, getting clothes and weapons. All through this process his mother gets all the good shit, overpowered stats, TWO MAGICAL SWORDS with multi hit effect and immunity to many shit, on the other hand he gets a weak ass single attack and piss powers. Ok. Episode ends with boy wanting to recruit more to his party of him and his mom. I am writing this review having watched episode 2 and would like to adjust the summed up title version of this show, “Isekai with my (hot) Mom” or “My Mom is my Wife”. Yeaaaa, this show is doing that. Episode 2 has our Okaa-san interviewing potential girls for the party and enrolling a collection of other girls against our boy’s initial top choices. Some shit happens, Mom shows more OP power, we have the government women also show up in game as various characters telling them straight up that the purpose of this game world is to bring Mother’s and Sons closer together which is also consequently the only way to win and return back to the normal world. We see a nice mother clothes melting battle scene with a slime, with boobs and ass galore naked although heavily censored light rays, all the while our boy can barely watch this unfold and coming to the realization in his mind “Oh my god, my mom is hot”. lolool. This show is a pretty differnt take on Isekai to say the least, the best parts are obviously the main guys mom, and so far the 2 other girl characters, weakest shit of course is the boy. The designs are alright, nothing special except for the inherit Odipus complex theme and hot moms. I dunno, it seems so awkward to me but somewhat charming in it’s own way, the fact that their is censored fanservice of boobs and pantie shots help immensely. We’ll see, probably watch more but we’ll see. lol it’s so different you kinda can’t forget about it.

Overall this season has alot of shows that I am interested in and seem pretty cool more on the lighter side of things. Despite the tragedy that has happened for Kyoto Animation, this season of anime is looking promising. Good shit.
