Anime Review

Mai Top Anime of 2022

For once I am getting my yearly anime round up ranking done early, wow. I usually kinda sit on this post because I am lazy but for some reason I am more motivated to write it, I think this is due to the fact that this year I brought a new laptop and can now write sitting in front of my tv with all the benefits of my couch and putting my feet up on my coffee table, yea boi. In terms of anime this year, there has been alot of sequels, both to good and bad shows and a number of good new shows that will significantly impact the general anime culture sphere for many more years to come. In terms of volume, I still don’t think it’s up to the quantity of pre-covid levels but it’s certainly getting close, although in general the quality and subject matter of anime shows this year has honestly been pretty solid, nothing extremely horrible at all, no train wrecks which is great. There does however seem to be a huge lack of slice of life/comedy/chill shows which I love which in previous years was so prevalent which is sad. In terms of trends, Isekai trash is still over-saturating each season as well as generic gayboy idol fare which is not surprising but still, there also seems to be alot more anime focusing for women and girls, in particular the otome “Villianess” sub-genre of shojo stories which have been getting really popular lately which is interesting. Because of Hololive and vtubers, I continue to watch less and less anime, which honestly, is the common trend in the weeb world, in fact; I am now being influenced by my favorite vtubers if they mentioned that they recently watched X show or movie, making me want to watch it too. I suppose that is the power of vtubers and anime in a weird cyclical nature, they both benefit from each other in a kinda weird otaku feedback loop that makes so much sense, get an anime girl to recommend you to watch certain anime; it just makes so much sense.

As per new tradition, I’d like to take the time to recognize a number of high-profile shows that came out this year but for whatever reason, I did not watch or had no interest in watching and or lost interest but people other than myself, it’s the hottest shit still. I suppose you can say this is my list of failures/acknowledgment of notable shows that should at least have a sentence or two.

Noteworthy/Honorable mention shows:

Bleach – Thousand Year Blood Wars – I have long since stopped caring about Bleach as a media franchise, I honestly didn’t even know that it will still going and alive until this show popped up and all of a sudden people got hyped because it’s apparently the final season and Bleach manga is ending. From it’s massive popularity in the mid 2000’s it along with Naruto were the Shonen genre kings of the age and I suppose that is finally coming to an end, which I am glad.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6 – Stone Ocean (Part 3) – JoJo Part 6 Stone Ocean is weird because all of it is released on Netflix all at once, Part 1 was last year but this year, both Part 2 and Part 3 were released. While I finished Part 2 and will be included in my normal rankings, I didn’t get around to finishing Part 3, so I suppose that contributes to it’s overall ranking. Maybe in 2023 I will include Part 3 on it’s own for good measure once I finish it.

Kanojo, Okarishimasu S2 – I had endured this show’s first season because of youtuber Paolo de Guzman’ video tour of the creator of the manga series and his operation/studio, but I can’t no longer. I just can’t. The main boy is so annoying and infuriating, I just can’t. Yes the girls are good. But. That bitch tho, Mami, worst girl ever. I can’t. Watched the first episode of the S2, and I called it, nope. I’m done.

Hataraku Maou-sama S2 – After over a decade of not being made, this show comes back and everyone is happy. Everyone watches a couple of episodes and has no idea what the hell is going on or who the characters are anymore. The show focuses on some baby demon girl that is just thrown in and all of a sudden the original core idea of the show is lost. Add in some bad animation, character designs and significant character personality trait changes (Maou seems alot dumber) and you have a formula for dropping. Too bad. This is why anime should only be made for manga and stories that are at least close to being finished, not like midway; you’ll end up like Maou; waiting for a decade later for mediocre poor S2 and no one cares anymore. Literally no one cares. Shame.

Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita – This at first seemed like a nice trash Isekei show with a decent spin. It had a cute cat girl and everything but ultimately I dropped it because while the animation and character designs were decent, they weren’t great, so I would probably spend my time better watching vtubers. The anime cultural impact of this show is low, just like most other iseki show’s so yea, drop.

Yofukashi no Uta – I watched a couple of episodes of this show, it had a nice pitch; edgy vampire girl and some random future less boy just chilling and doing things. On paper it sounded good. Visually it looked great but the characters were honestly not very appealing to me and it was just so slow, the pacing, way slower than what I am used to, even for drama shows. Nice night background and city but man, a whole not of nothing, drop.

RWBY – Hyousetsu Teikoku – Touted at AX2022 as RWBY’s debut of finally becoming real anime, I ultimately didn’t watch this all because the pacing was kinda slow and before I could even get around to catching up or binge it, it had ended and people said it was shit and lost any motivation that I had to try and watch this. Ah-well, that’s how it goes sometimes, good character designs tho.

Luminous Witches – The Strike Witches spin-off in which instead of fighting aliens; a bunch of former/shit solider girls become idols to motivate people, ultimately didn’t catch my attention enough. Don’t get me wrong, I like strike witches and idol anime, but for some reason it didn’t appeal to me here. I might have watched this but reception of it was mediocre/bad so yea, no incentive to watch, too bad.

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari S2 – After a fairly enjoyable S1, Raising of the Shield Hero had a fairly good conclusion or at least segway into the next story arc. S2 did not start very strong at all, completely trivializing the entire first season’s achievements of Naofumi and pivoting away the original threat into some other turtle god bullshit, most likely because the author of the light novel got bored and wanted to do something else. Either way, after a few episodes I couldn’t endure it anymore and stopped as it got so political and the world got so convoluted, I just didn’t care anymore. Do I regret watching S1? Nope, do I regret not continuing this series and story into S2? Not really, there’s better isekai out there.

Shachiku-san wa Youjo Yuurei ni Iyasaretai – It had all of the elements that I wanted, chill show, cute things, cute ghost fox girl things. But atlas, it just wasn’t enough for some reason. The pacing of this show being a slice of life chill show was way to slow for what it was, I found myself asking, so, when are they going to introduce the next girl/creature, but found myself that there were still focusing on the first girl 3-4 episodes in; I was like, man, this is taking too long. It wasn’t that funny, just cute, but I can get cute elsewhere, and funny elsewhere so drop too bad.

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai – Aharen-san is also a show that I would normally watch since it is a slice of life chill comedy, with mild romance but atlas, it just wasn’t funny enough. The characters, including the title girl was just too mild-toast, including the main boy, plain. Plain with plain equals…plain. Maybe for some but not for me, I had hoped that this would get better but after a few episodes, nope, drop.

Delicious Party Precure – I don’t normally watch Pretty Cure, at all in fact, but if I did, it would include a theme of food and magical girls, and this show delivered. Shit, if I had more endurance to watch a long ass shows intended for kids/young girls, this would be it. After watching a few episodes it was pretty good honestly lol, but these shows go so long, like 50+ episodes and more so I just can’t, I like shows that end so too bad. Although I do check up occasionally and download a random episode to see what’s up. Noice.

In total I watched about 18 shows, which is down from last year where I watched 22, shit; and even of those 18 shows, I’m including 3 shows that are still airing into 2023 and some exceptions, so yea, kinda mess. If you want to be pure about it, in terms of fully watched and completed shows, I only watched 15 anime this year. Fuck. A lot of shit happened this year I suppose and more vtubers, so yea, a bit surprised but at the same time sad. I watch less and less anime every year. Fuck. Not even Mini shows this year, shit.

Ahwell, that’s how it goes I suppose when the world is being ruined and you want to keep up with things, can’t focus on anything else. Here’s mai opinion of the top shows of 2022:

18. Pop Team Epic S2

There is nothing wrong with Pop Team Epic, I fully welcome the S2 in open arms and every episode has been a wild ride of crazy bullshit and dumb sketches which is what I expect. It’s just that this year, I didn’t really watch anything horrible or super bad, which is why it’s technically the last on my list of shows, Pop Team Epic is not for everyone since you need to be a little retarded to fully appreciate it, such as myself. I fully recommend this show if people are wanting to try out some weird shit but once again, it’s not for everyone and something has to be last in my ranking, so Pop Team Epic gets that honor; not that it matters for those interested in this show to begin with.

17. Paripi Koumei

The weird isekai anime about Zhuge Liang (Waver) (Kongming) being transported into modern Japan to be a manager for an aspiring idol singer on paper is good and indeed, for the good early parts of the show, was pretty jokes and entertaining. It had an outstanding opening sequence and OP song/dance, excellent premise and concept but it fell short because of several factors such as slower than what I would have liked pacing, loss of focus on the idol girl and focus on some rando boy rapper, and not enough jokes/dance sequences. While it started off super hype, it loss its energy midway and just dragged on till the end, with the story not even being finished anytime soon, most likely because of manga not finished. Enjoyable but man, the OP song is just too good. If it wasn’t for the OP song, most people probably wouldn’t watch this.

16. Golden Kamuy S4

Golden Kamuy is a great excellent show, ranking very high in previous years as the story ramps up and gets more crazy, so why then is it so low on my list? Well, because the show is on hiatus till spring 2023 due to a production staff death which caused the show to be paused, that’s why. This is one of the shows that I technically shouldn’t even list since S4 isn’t complete yet but from the episodes that were released, shit’s pretty good and would rank quite high if it did finish. Nevertheless, in order for me to feel better about myself for not watching as much anime this year, I felt compelled to add it to the list, cause shit, why not. Might include it again in 2023 round up once it’s done and production begins again.

15. Fumetsu no Anata e S2

Much like Golden Kamuy, why is Fumetsu no Anata e S2 ranked so low on this list? Well, for the same reasons, show is still airing and will finish in 2023 but I feel compiled to add it here cause reasons. As the best show of 2021, only beaten by Mushoku Tensei, it feels wrong to have S2 ranked at 15 but yea, it’s not done so I can’t make any real conclusions of the show yet. However, what I have seen so far is pretty good although the pacing is a bit slower than what I would have liked, we’ll see if the second half of this show and Fushi can bring it back to the top in 2023’s round up.

14. Shadows House S2

S1 of Shadows House can be summed up with the question, But Y Tho? Well, season 2 answers some of those key questions and rounds out the dynamic of the cast and characters living in the Shadows house but raised even more questions and mysteries, which I suppose is the forte of this show. More questions are answered but ultimately more questions of But Y Tho are raised. I have no idea how long this show will continue or it’s source material but it will still nevertheless enjoyable albeit a bit slow in pacing, which is kind of standard. Hope this show reaches a reasonable conclusion in another season or two, I don’t know how long I can test my patience of Buy Y Tho kinds of shows like this?

13. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6 – Stone Ocean (Part 2)

Jojo Stone Ocean Part 2 was pretty good, it more or less takes place just after the events in Part I ending with a week or two time jump, not bad. While the show was enjoyable and fun, I feel that it got a little bit more episodic since you can only do so much when your entire cast and story takes place in a prison. There were some really good fights and joke meme worthy stuff in this Part such as the chink dragon old man and drug install security guard but outside of that it feels like nothing of significance happened other than one of the lesser characters dying and Joylne breaking out of prison. We’ll see how Part 3 goes once I watch it in 2023.

12. RPG Fudousan

This is a unknown no name show that is probably based off a 4-koma and it is great. I enjoyed this show alot more than I probably should have. What I thought was going to be an episodic chill slice of life cute show, turned out to be that but with an overarching mystery story in addition, so super bonus, which was completely out of the ordinary for this kind of show. The mystery of the dragon and Fa is slowly hinted at and revealed with each episode and is always in the background, plus it helps that Fa is really cute with a great design. Everything about this show exceed my expectations and to me was a sleeper hit that no one will care about but me. Good show.

11. Kaijin Kaihatsu-bu no Kuroitsu-san

Known internally in my mind as “Koyori’s monster lab” in reference of Hololive’s Hakui Koyori since they are both supposed to be scientists in evil organizations planning to take over the world, this show was very enjoyable to me as it had everything that I wanted, cute girls, jokes, semi-episodic nature, power rangers theme, funny premise and pretty decent character designs. There have been alot of shows trying to capture the pacing and tone of this show but Koyori’s monster lab just hits it right. I hope there is a season second one day as there is actually story elements and progression that might make the show even funnier. Good shit.

10. Spy x Family

“Spy Kids” internally in my mind was a show that was semi-hyped about months before even airing so I was curious what the fuss this was all about. Family consisting of a spy and an assassin with a psychic adoptive daughter Anya trying to succeed in school and get closer to a prominent leader’s son? Sounds good to me, and for the most part the show delivered fully in what it had be marketed as, a largely wholesome action/comedy/slice of life show with mild spy drama and politics. The show is very well rounded and the characters are all likeable and well designed and the premise has unlimited possibilities for expansion and spin-off if it wanted to, even deriving from the source material if it wants for better or worse. It admittedly gets slow at times and there is some filler content added in for some episodes because I know that the anime company’s want to milk this one for many years to come. This is basically one of the hottest new shows of 2022 and a surprisingly wholesome one at that. Noice.

9. Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai S3

Going in for the third season of Tsundere love is war romance comedy, it’s safe to say that this season was alot better than S2 as it made significant story progression between Kaguya as the President. While S2 offered alot of character backstory and depth needed for it’s side characters it was almost too dramatic for what this show is marketed as. Fortunately, S3 brings it back to it’s core with President and Kaguya with a curveball plot point that moves the story closer to it’s end. I’m not sure when S4 will come but I think the manga will be ending soon too, so I’m sure it will align when that time comes. Good funny hyperbole shit, all the characters great and top notch voice acting and animation. Excellent third season.

8. Isekai Ojisan

Oh shit dis boi. While it was on hiatus for quite some due to covid19 related staff illnesses, the Netflix based anime featuring an Isekai Uncle voiced by Dio himself, Takehito Koyasu and several other great voice actors such as Jun Fukuyama makes an excellent first impression as not your ordinary isekai show. In fact, I would go so far as to say it’s a reverse anti-Isekai show in which the main uncle actually returns from the fantasy world and tells his nephew all about his adventuress to much great joke comedic effect due to his long standing love of Sega games and Consoles. With cast of funny and likeable characters both, waifu and not, this show deserves all of it’s praise and acclaim. Good story, funny characters, good storytelling, waifu factors, good animation, it’s all here, even Dio. Good shit.

7. Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru

A somewhat sleeper hit show that turned out to be massively popular in the general anime popular culture sphere and for good reason. The reason why this show is so good is largely because none of the main characters or even side characters for that matter are hate-able, they are all likeable and somewhat relatable, no one in this show deserves hate, which is a godsend for shows with alot of attractive girls and have harem-like qualities. But this show is not really a harem at all, as the main selling point of this show is the main girl, Marin Kitagawa, she’s basically too good to exist in real life; the ultimate waifu cosplay otaku girl that is popular, that is not bitchy or jealous of anything, positive and has a outgoing personality not to mention being beautiful but not vain about it. Marin has captured the popular anime culture by storm since the anime aired with many girls cosplaying her and with many many fanarts made and figures to be produced TBA. The main boy is not horrible either, he’s actually admirable and has strong values and dreams, something which most male anime protags severely lack in these kinds of shows. The fact that no character in this show is toxic is refreshing and is probably why the show is so good and popular, good shit.

6. Kimetsu no Yaiba – Yuukaku-hen

I am not sure if this is considered the season or third season of Demon Slayers since Mugen Train movie was converted into a full cour anime season as well but in either case, yaiba continues to deliver as one of the most popular anime IP in the modern age and for good reason. Taking place after the events of the Mugen Train, the Entertainment District Arc takes Tanjiro and friends infiltrating the entertainment district in search for reports of a demon as women begin to vanish in the night and investigate under the guise geisha trainees. While a bit slow starting off, each episode gets better as the plot thickens as the show introduces it’s Hashira of the day, Tengen Uzu the bold and flashy playboy kinda ninja. The animation and pacing of this arc is superb, the battles are outstanding, possibly even better in terms of intensity and action of the Mugen Train Arc and Rengoku’s final battle. The main demons in this arc have an excellent design and much like many of the villains in this anime, can’t help but feel a bit sympathetic towards once their backstory is revealed. Kimetsu no Yaiba will continue to be a hallmark of this generation of anime and will continue to do so when the anime wraps up in a few years. Excellent shit.

5. Mobile Suit Gundam – The Witch from Mercury

As we head into the top five anime of my ranking, almost everything has been good and positive, I’ve been watching good lately, less, but good. So then, why is the new Gundam anime above Kimetsu no Yaiba, a former top show when it first aired 3-4 years ago? Well, the reason is longevity and impact to the general anime cultural sphere, plus a general bias to put new shows that debut this year above existing already established successful shows and series. With Gundam the Witch from Mercury, I can say for the first time since Gundam Build Fighters and Gundam Unicorn, I am interested in a new original Gundam IP and story/world. Yes, that’s very important. Much like how Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed and Gundam 00 defined their youth’s generation respectively, I can now say with a reasonably level of confidence that the Witch from Mercury is probably going to be this generations ‘Gundam’. Why do I think this? Because while the show is very different and starts off with what is essentially gundam school, with heavy Yuri tones, the groundwork for a classic gundam story between ‘spacenoids’ and ‘earthians’ is there and will continue to be expanded in the next season of Witch from Mercury already announced. The characters are likeable, the world interesting and the mystery and unfounded tension lingers not awoken yet, and of course most importantly, the main Gundam of this show, Arial, is pretty cool in design with noice ace upgraddees at the end of the cour. There is so much to expand upon in this world and more stories to continue. With top notch battle animation and narrative, I look forward to more from this series in S2 to see what happens.

4. Bocchi the Rock!

Bocchi the Rock is one of those shows that spreads by word of mouth from friends and of course influencers online and of course that includes vtubers. As probably this year’s best slice of life/comedy/chill anime, Bocchi does everything right and then some in the tried and true formula of hobby/club animes but puts a huge spin on the genre by having Bocchi, the main titular character as a moderately popular guitar youtuber that just so happens to be a paranoid introvert that lives her life filled with social anxiety and low-self-esteem with no friends. This is a formula for jokes. This show would be just another generic band/club anime with cute girls if it were not for Bocchi, she’s literally the main draw and the reason to watch this show as she is so jokes and hilarious with her interactions with her bandmates and her inner thoughts. The show makes use of experimental animation, live-action, puppets and a host of non-traditional cut-in segments to convey how Bocchi feels and it’s really unique and funny, everything from her facial expressions to voice acting is top notch. There was a huge lack of chill comedy animes this year but luckily Bocchi does everything right to fit that much wanted niche along the same lines of Yuru Camp, Non Non Biyori, Dragon Maid and etc. Top notch animation, good pacing, likeable and relable characters, super jokes reactions and expressions from Bocchi. Considering that I see alot of merch being produced for this series, I can imagine it’s popularity may be up there one day with Yuru Camp given enough time. Good shit, looking forward to more hopefully.

3. Lycoris Recoil

Original anime is hard to make, they don’t have anything to fall back on in terms of lore and or able to draw upon existing fans of the original light novel, manga, visual novel, game or whatever to support it’s success. Making an original anime is so hard because it’s judged purely upon the show’s story and characters itself, nothing else and while many studios try all the time to capture the attention of the adaptation heavy anime market, almost none reach the critical acclaim or widespread appeal with an original anime, usually falling into obscurity and nothing. I can honestly say that there hasn’t been an original anime that has captured the wider anime sphere since probably Kill-La-Kill, Madoka, Gurren Lagann and if you want to be oldschool, Gundam Seed and even further back, Neon Genesis Evangelion. The supreme goal of an anime studio/creator is to make that one original anime that will be iconic and become a franchise series that will outlast it’s original season’s airing and remain popular many years later even after the original finished airing. I believe Lycoris Recoil has the potential to do that, if it plays it’s cards right and follows up with a S2, merch, manga, light novels, movies and etc. The basic premise of Lycoris Recoil is pretty simple, in this world, there are school girl elite assassins and they do missions and shit. Simple enough right? Yes, but the two main heroines of the story are so likeable that you can’t help but admit that they drive the entire show, if it were not for Chisato and Takina, this show would be pretty generic and bland. However, the show is not bland and builds a world that can easily be expanded for future anime stories to be told, which in many ways is similar to Strike Witches and many idol animes. Combining, idol-like anime traits, action, mild-drama and school-girls, it’s a formula that seems generic but it somehow works. While it’s nowhere near the level of action or insane good animation of Demon Slayers or mecha 3dcg as Gundam, I was engaged all the way to the end of the show, since I had no idea what was going to happen, which when it comes down to it; isn’t that the entire purpose of watching an original anime? To not be beholden to knowing the future already due to existing source materials? While not perfect and has some minor pacing issues, I do think Lycoris Recoil has earned it’s spot as number 3 in this years ranking. I look forward for more from this series and it’s future success, good shit.

2. Made in Abyss S2 – Retsujitsu no Ougonkyou

I can’t remember if Made in Abyss was granted as top show when it first aired many years ago in 2017, but regardless of that fact, this S2, after so many years of waiting and having so many recap movies made; this S2 was probably one of the most anticipated by many this year. Continuing the events after the third movie, Dawn of the Deep Soul, which continues the story after S1; Riko, Reg and Nanachi make their way into the sixth layer and a whole new world of terror and wonder after escaping the nightmare that was Bondrewd. Without describing everything, this story arc begins to shed light on Reg and his purpose, the relationship with the curse and the ancient people that inhabit the sixth layer, introduces a new animal-girl potential ex-machina character and is so beautifully filled with ruin, I could have put a screenshot from one of the later episodes as the cover of my yearly end year retrospect post and it would still be just about right in terms of accuracy. The ruin is beautiful. From a technical and storytelling level, the show is outstanding, excellent pacing, voice acting, beautiful animation, detailed backgrounds and characters, this is almost movie-level quality and it shows that the team working on this cares. I do however think that the ruin could have been more complete but that’s just my opinion as the ending was somewhat anti-climatic, but I understand why it was written that way. Who knows how long will it be for the next season be but in either way, Made in Abyss deserves the spot among the top. Beautiful ruin is wonderful.

1. Chainsaw Man

The hype surrounding Chainsaw Man was known the moment that an anime adaptation was in the works, probably over a year since it’s first announcement. While I was skeptical about how good this anime would be, I am pleased to say that overall that they are fairly justified. The hype is justified although it’s good to temper your expectations and not set them too high. So then, what makes Chainsaw Man the top show in my anime ranking this year? Well, as one of the most hyped anime in recent memory, the show delivers all of the common traits of a modern successful shonen show, we got protag Denji who just wants to live and survive in the world, a world filled with demons and crazy shit that wants to kill and fuck shit up. Amongst the backdrop of this harsh world, Denji provides a perfect base for a anime shonen story, he just doesn’t really care about anything but due to his life and upbringing/rather lack thereof, is forced to become a demon hunter after he himself is attacked and becomes a fiend, a hybrid-half demon-human existence, one that can transform into a demon with a chainsaw head and arms as his weapons. The sheer craziness of this concept and image of Denji’s demon form attracts attention from people and a wide audience. While the story starts off fairly slow, Chainsaw man provides a number of twists and surprises that defy the common shonen template formula, and because it does it so soon, is shocking and so-refreshing in a way that makes it stand out from similar shows, at least in my opinion. Aside from the engrossing dramatic paranormal world and story that is slowly being weaved, you have a cast of pretty funny and likeable characters, from the dumb anti-hero Denji, the Chainsaw Man, to Power, the demon fiend girl that acts as a partner to Denji’s dumbness and proverbial waifu/Harley Quin crazy girl, Aki the cool headed blue guy with a katana with a revenge trope to lastly; Makima, the big boss girl that has overwelming powers that are not fully defined or revealed yet that Denji likes that brought him to the fold of demon hunting. The characters have a great amount of depth and are very well written and rounded out but at the same time, many unknowns remain that leave you as the audienece wanting to learn more and see the backstories of the characters and the world that they live in. The animation and battle scenes of Chainsaw man are very gory and brutal and thus; superb, fluid, smooth with many dynamic angles and motions that put it up there with Kimetsu no Yaiba in terms of quality and style. The character designs, while simple, work given the harsh world that they live in and are an easy cosplay for many people, it’s literally just a white shirt, red tie and pants, aiding to it’s easy level of accessibility for those who are into cosplay. While the season ends off in a somewhat cliffhanger manner, you know more shit is about to go down and more craziness is going to happen. Given all the factors involved and it’s overall hype level in the anime popular culture sphere, it would be hard to deny that Chainsaw Man is probably the most important and impactful anime that was released in 2022 that will continue on for many more years to come as the ongoing story and world continues to be written.

Whether people like it or not, Chainsaw Man is going to be up there alongside Naruto, Bleach, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, Kimetsu no Yaiba as iconic mainstream shonen animes of the modern age, it’s hard to ignore or deny that fact based on it’s popularity. And with said, congratulations Chainsaw Main, you are mai top anime of 2022.
