So today is a travel day, we left Osaka and are returning back to Tokyo, specifically back to Akihabara again except in a different hotel. lol. Unlike our first time on the shinkansen, this time going back to Tokyo was way smoother without any problems due to us learning from our mistakes and giving ourselves more time and looking at signs. Yay, no travel trauma this time.
Back in Tokyo station, it’s just a short two stops away on the Yamamoto line back to Akihabara, it was just before lunch time and the crowds on the trains were pretty minimal which was great.
After we dropped off our luggage and bags at our new hotel, we went into the 8th floor of Yodobashi Camera for the gourmet dining floor to find something to eat.
We arrived at this somewhat empty but nice looking place that served a variety of pub fare from sashmi, udon and tempura. We were in the mood for a tempura don so that was how we decided among all the other potential good eats.
My “special” tempura don that costs a little bit more than the regular don that included a big eel tempura. It’s hard to see but yes, there is rice at the bottom of all the nice crispy stuff. They already pour ontop the tempura sauce for you so all you have to do now is chow down. Pretty good shit.
After our nice kinda fancy lunch we gradually went down to each of the floors of Yodobashi Camera to browse each of the stuff. We were surprised to find that they had a floor filled with anime goods, character goods and even alot of gacha machines, some of which we have never seen before. When you think Yodobashi camera, you don’t think anime merch, but apparently there is. My sister and myself ended up finding stuff that we wanted and brought it, which was kind of unexpected since we were only there to browse to begin with.
They even had a nice gundam model kit section and fully painted gunpla kits on display. This one is apparently a custom paint job of Hi-Nu Gundam but using the black, white gold colors from nu gundam in Chars Counterattack. Pretty dope shit.
Akibahara is busy as always, even for a Wednesday afternoon. Now is the time for visitors from all around the world to visit Japan after all.
After formally checking in into our hotel and resting for a bit, it was almost time for dinner again and so we headed to Yodobashi Camera again to eat some steak on a hot plate. Pretty good shit, I can’t remember what mine was called but half of it was called “Juicy” steak and the other half was “Tasty Flank” steak or something, whatever they named it as. Pretty good shit, they offered a few different sauces and seasonings so that the steak never got boring eating.

My sister wante to get this ice cream for a long time since it was directly in front of our old hotel location, that was within Akihabara Station. Looks good.
After dinner we spent the rest of the night playing crane games and exploring more of the stores that we didn’t get around to visiting when we were here a few days ago. Nice Bocchi stand in- and Christmas thing. Jokes. Bocchi the rock really is popular here, along with a few other well known anime franchises/shows. Good shit.
Tomorrow is our last full day in Japan/Akihabara so we’ll largely be doing more of the same thing we did today, exploring, crane games, gacha and eating more stuff. Let’s see how much stuff we can buy and get back home lol.
