I got my reviews in for Summer Anime, even tho summer is basically over and we are weeks ago from Fall season started but hey, better late than never I suppose. Been very busy this summer on trips and shit so yea, even tho this season is really good with lots of potential good shows, probably will only watch a handful of them and sequels because yea, sequel; let’s see what we got.
Mayonaka Punch – Original show about some vampire girl and hooligan girl doing some shit and they meet. Kind of weird and since original, pacing and structure not sure about. Pass.
Shinmai Ossan Boukensha – Some bullshit fantasy show about a gladiator who is old but was trained by the strongest adventurers and is actually super op. Seen before similar. Pass.
Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shiteita – Cute show about a magical girl that is poor and in bad shape but ends up dating one of the high ranking officials of the evil organization that she is trying to fight against who falls in love with her. Seen before formula, not bad but we’ll see. Mini show.
Isekai Shikkaku – Osamu Dazai, famous Japanese author known for penning such ace works like “No Longer Human” is isekaied into another fantasy world and ends up doing shit which for some reason or another all the bitches and women love him. Still seeks out a good way to kill himself regardless. Kinda jokes and funny, we’ll see but probably not.
Tasuuketsu – Some show that looks like yugioh or some other kiddie anime that is actually very serious about some card game or death game hi-jinks where whoever votes as the majority, those people die which is the whole population of Japan etc. Sure, interesting concept but nah.
Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta – Fantasy power show where main op guy in the demon lord’s army is actually a human, even though they are fighting against humans. Sure, nope.
Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan – Funny meme deer girl show with a nice song and meme gif animation online. The premise is jokes and the original author of the manga is the illustrator of Hololive’s Kanata but the show itself is a bit slow and jokes a bit flat. Will try to watch but we’ll see.
Oshi no Ko S2 – Contining from the first season, looks like we getting into drama acting arc. Gud shit, will watch for sure.
Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san – New hot show that is similar to Kaguya love as war but not as funny jokes but more drama and with more dialogue. Main girl is Russian and sometimes speaks Russian comments about her feelings, main boy can understand Russian, she doesn’t know that. Feels weird watching because Russian Invasion of Ukraine but what can you do, it’s a pretty good show and all the girls are attractive shiny. Cultural significant I think. Will probably try and watch more.
Koi wa Futago de Warikirenai – Romance drama show between two twins that both love the same guy. They fight against each other trying to date their childhood friend. Not funny, pure drama/romance. Pass.
True Beauty – Korean anime huh? Also dubbed korean, sounds strange hearing anime high voices in korean. Basically ugly unpopular girl goes to highschool and does makeover and learns makeup and transforms into popular beauty and the such gaining attention of boys and others all the while hiding her nerdness and stuff but some dude, the hottest dude in school figures it out regardless. Not bad but pass. Too chum.
Delico’s Nursery – A bunch of vampires engage in serious vampire activities and shit and very edgy battle but they are also dads and shit and have to take care of their kids and shit. Wow, not bad but not really for me. Only for women I think. Sure, pass.
Gimai Seikatsu – Living my days with my stepsister or something. I think it’s kind of drama which may or may not involve relationship/romance with main guy and stepsister. Pass.
Ore wa Subete wo Parry suru – Edgelord show about a dude that has no skills or abilities in a fantasy world but can only Parry shit. He trains hard his one shit skill and ends up becoming OP even though he doesn’t think much of it. Nice premise but it’s basically just shield hero again in another way. Pass.
Tasogare Out Focus – Two dudes start college dorms and one of them is gay. The dudes make a pact to say that they will not interfere or the gay one to hit or fall in love with the other straight dude. Turns out that the other guy discovers that he’s also gay, oh noe lol. Not for me lol.
Ramen Akaneko – Show about a ramen shop run by cats, they hire their single human server because they need her to groom them and take orders and such. 3d show, nah pass.
Giji Harem – Show about a girl who can act and ends up acting like the several archtypes of harem girls towards this one dude in the acting club. The girl is cute and is voiced by Yor, Saori Hayami, who is like in everything. Might watch more but we’ll see, nice quality and premise tho.
Hazurewaku – Isekai trash about main guy with shit skill but is actually op. Trash.
Senpai wa Otokonoko – Cross dressing boy gets confessed to by a lesbian girl in class unknowingly, thinking was girl. Boy only dresses up as girl at school and goes home as a boy, cause secret. More drama and mild slice of life I think. Ok, sure, but not for me, pass.
Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction – Some shit happens and aliens invade and some end up like body snatchers, taking control of some humans who have died and living for some time. Main guy wakes up after being controlled for like 3 years and the world is shit and has no idea what’s going on or who he is traveling with in this ruined post-apocalyptic world. Then the show goes back in time to where it all began, during the day of the invasion when things were normal and just getting started with the focus on the main guy’s daughter and everyday life. Hmm, interesting premise but they are butt ugly designs so probably no. Pass.
2.5-jigen no Ririsa – Main boy is all about 2d anime waifus but one day he gets a new member at the anime club or something and she is a cosplayer who ends up being a huge fan of the same anime waifu he likes, a magical girl character. She ends up cosplaying as her and the main boy is like oh my gawd, my waifu is real now here because her cosplay is flawless. Standard harem-ish kind of show with anime club trope a bit similar but not really to dress up doll. Not bad but not great. Pass.
Bye Bye, Earth – Furry world, main guy is born/isekai into furry world as the only normal human. No.
NieR Automata Ver1.1a – Continuation of gud shit Nier Automata anime. Will watch for sure.
Dungeon no Naka no Hito – Some bullshit about a girl searching for her mama or something in a fantasy dungeon. I have no idea, nope.
Kono Sekai wa Fukanzen Sugiru – Some bullshit about fantasy world but main guy is living a loop, the entire world is a game and is an NPC or something that becomes self aware or something, sees the same girl die everyday or something until he manages to save her and break the loop. Interesting premise but ugly ass shit designs, pass.
Madougushi Dahliya wa Utsumukanai – Some sentimental bullshit about magic in modern world where girl is born with shit but not and things go bad, whatever not for me. Pass.
Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyuutan – Show about some shit guy who fights in dungeons because it’s a job now and ends up getting a magical summon girl who is like a card or something that fights for him and is a cute girl. He probably gets more girls but there is no immediate direction or goal for this show really other than get rich or die trying, in the modern world. Pass.
Monogatari Series – Off & Monster Season – Monogatari anime continues, didn’t even watch because I stopped following this series after the first season, like probably over ten years ago or more. Pass.
Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga Nai – World with robot waifus and main guy gets a robot waifu but it’s just a tool to cook and clean with little emotions and shit but for some reason he loves it, the robot girl isn’t even that good looking and other than face, full body is like metal shit, kinda weird man, not my thing, if the girl was less visibly a robot, maybe. Ending or opening song I think is done by hololive vtubers. Pass.
Elf-san wa Yaserarenai – Fat elf girl is overweight and loves fries and cant’ stop eating so she tries to loose weight and joins a fitness club of sort to exercise. Has lots of uncensored fat elf boobs and such from a variety of other fantasy species like demons, oni, cyclops, mermaids etc. Mini show, will probably watch because fat dance and it’s so different, plus fat elf boobs are unique.
Naze Boku no Sekai wo Daremo Oboeteinai no ka – Some bullshit fantasy, I can’t even remember what this shit was about or premise.
Tensui no Sakuna-hime – Anime of side scroller/farming game Sakuna which is kind of surprising they made an anime of this, didn’t think the game was that popular enough to have, kinda boring mid. Pass.
Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi – A deceiving show that looks like some kiddie shit but is actually quite brutal and violent about some prince boy in ancient Japan trying to get revenge for ruining his kingdom and killing his family and such. The animation is quite good and the boy looks like a cute girl, making everyone who watched the first episode of this show kind of gay. Pass, not for me lol.
Atri – My Dear Moments – Some sentiment show about ruined water world and robots with some guy who’s dead grandma was a robot researcher or something. Ends up finding/salvaging his grandma’s old robot which is of course a cute girl and I suppose slice of life ensues. Interesting but done before I think, pass.
Make Heroine ga Oosugiru! – Pretty joke ass show about a bunch of loser girls who all get dumped/rejected by their love interest and end up being fag hags to this one dude who is also hopelessly a loser/sadboy. Pretty good animation and premise, good pacing and such but more drama and such than expected. Will watch more, gud shit so far.
Shoushimin Series – An interesting show about two big brain detective like students one girl and boy who want to try living a normal life but just can’t because their brain is too big and they got their cake ruined by hooligans, can’t contain the justice. Not bad might have watched in a earlier time but there is just too much gud shit this season. Pass probably.
Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria – Some bullshit fantasy show. Pass.
Tower of God S2 – Trash Korean propaganda show that made everyone watch the first season cause it was going to ‘save anime’, only to be reduced to a boy as the ultimate simp of the universe for his bitch, Rachel. First episode of S2 validates the fact that S1 was a complete and utter waste of time, the main character of this series wasn’t even the simp boy chasing Rachel, it’s some other fool blonde hair boy in present time, Fuck. Retroactive negative points for Tower of God S1, trash trash Korean propaganda, don’t fall for it.
VTuber Nandaga Haishin Kiri Wasuretara Densetsu ni Natteta – Anime about vtubers, oh hell yea, super meta shit show. Features a vtuber that actually collabed like 2-3 years ago with Hololive’s Marine, probably to promote this work, which I think is either a light novel or manga. Good shit and meta, main girl is a vtuber who loves strong zero alcohol contrary to her visual model and appearance when stream, gud meta shit. Will watch.
Na Nare Hana Nare – Some show about girls and a club or something, done before nothing to talk much about. Pass.
Isekai Yururi Kikou – Couple of blue haired twins get picked up boy some dude and he raises them and they are pro I guess I think. Fantasy bullshit whatever pass.
Overall a huge jam packed season with tons of shit to watch, except mech of course. Will probably watch all the sequels that I have followed like Nier, Oshi no Ko and others; new show probably watch Russian girl Alya, Losing Heroines and a few others like Shikanoko but we’ll see. Good season but no time to watch alot, ahwell.
