World Trigger – something about another dimension, some slug monsters coming in and ruining some shit in japan. special forces developed in recent past to combat etc etc. modern dayish setting, some kid transfer student, basically comes from slug monster world but has this “trigger” thing that gives him a suit that makes him strong to fight the slug things, meets other kid in school that is also in the organization to fight slugs. whatever. pretty shitty. bad concept, bad animation, execution, horrible and boring character designs, horrible pacing, somtimes like powerpoint slideshow. bad shit show
Cross Ange – fantasy future/alternate world/reality. everyone has magic or “mana” and it’s like normal shit but if you don’t have magic or are a “norma” as they call it, people and goverment goes batshit insane because they can break the spell and defy the mana stuff or whatever. main char is a princess, pretty attractive but is pretty much a bitch at first, looks down on norma, just like everyone else and calls them inhuman etc, cruel basically kinda like discrimination of jews. princess is famous and role model/popular, upcoming 16th birthday ceremony for her to show her magic or something, coming of age, surprize surprize, she is forcefully revealed as a normal with no magic abilities by rival family/royal members who want to overthrow her dad/king and family. panick and shunning of royal family and her insues. gets sent away to prison where norma are sent to become soliders. did I mention this is actually a mecha show with lots of girls? mecha are very cool, probably the best i’ve seen in a long time, better than the fool. they can transform into ship things which kinda remind me a alot of the ships in shooting bullet hell games, damn they are good designs, way better than the bullshit that i’ve seen in Gundam Reconguista in G. pretty intense and interesting first episode. op is a good song and is cool, good looking women, good char designs, good concept, good mecha. so far best of season.
Grisaia no Kajitsu – within the first 30 seconds of the show you know this one is different. I had lots of mixed emotions watching this first ep, I wasn’t quite sure what kind of show it was because the intro segment suggusted something dark and murderous but at the same time the character designs featured were of beautiful bishojou girls so I wasn’t 100% sure where it was going. as the usual main transferstudent greets and makes his way throughout the desolate school of only 6 girls, all of whom fill the required character archtypes, there was a lot of playfulness and humor going on so, fanservice, good boobs, panty shots and etc. all during this time i was like, wtf was that begining sequence about, this has to be a murder show, and of course near the end we see some nice glipses of grudgse and ill-intent from all the girls yesssss. based of vn/erogame so ya boobs and sex. aspect ratio of show is that of a movie. good character designs, standard concept but interesting enough characters to keep it noteworth, good pacing, mystery so far. second best of season so far
Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji – show for women, not gay but standard shojo fare. some girl wants to be popular, tells her fake friends that she has pro boyfriend. shit friends don’t believe, girl panics, takes picture of random good looking guy says bf. dude is in next class and is known as “prince of school”. girl panics, asks him to go along with it, pretend, guy agrees but only if girl acts as a dog servant for the dude, reluctantly she agrees. etc etc whatever. shit. even if this was for girls, so cliche and shit. ho-hum designs and whatver plain plot idea. bad for even girls
Gugure! Kokkuri-san – show about some girl summoning some cat/eared god and he basically keeps her company. comedy, funny. girl is like a robot, emotionless and mono-tone voice. god guy is like typical bishonen etc. main thing about this show is that the girl has such a jokes face 90% of the time she is on screen, always super deformed, emote like face, jokes. show for women basically with other bishonen dude gods showing up eventually, but not bad, decently entertaining. ok designs, interesting concept, ok animation. probably watch more
Sora no Method – the promise. the promise. the promise. whatever. sentimental bullshit about girl who comes back to old town after moving away 7 years ago, forgets everything about old friends etc. before she left as a kid made some promise to some blue-haired fairy-like girl i think to wait for her to come back. doesn’t come back. comes back to town and fairy-like girl still waiting but main girl forgets everything. stupid bitch you made promises, can’t you remember your old friends? shit. don’t matter that you mom died, even more reason to look back to the past. whatever, too wuss and sentimental for me. decent charcter designs, bad concept, slow pacing, blue haired fairy girl is cute but it’s not enough. drop this shit.
Shingeki no Bahamut – NOPE. BAD. don’t be fooled with this show’s title which has SHINGEKI in it, it’s based off a mobile trading card game by mobage/gree i think. Even then it could have some potential because the cards are actually very beautufully illustrated, I actually own a figure based off one of the cards and I don’t even play this shit. So much wasted potential. right off the back, i see some epic battle with bahamut from the past. then few minutes later, still fantasyish medieval setting some faggot with a afro is running around doing some bullshit and fighting some tight ass. something about bounty hunters or something. holy shit, main character is so ugly I can’t even. I don’t understand, they have money, they have good looking backgrounds, good animation and decent source material yet they decide on this design for main guy? WTF LOL. Sad because afro fool meets some cool looking demon girl which is actually great design, no doubt a card in the game. bad. one of the worst so far.
