Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete – some bullshit show, school setting, bland somehing about going back in time to save some girl that got killed. whatever. the most interesting thing about this show is that is it actually full 3d. it took me a while to realize it because from still frames it looks like normal animation but then i noticed that their movements are stiff and the characters expressions are kinda static. not bad try, getting better with the full 3d anime, just gotta improve animation. ok character designs, slow pacing, boring premise/recycled ideas
Magic Kaito 1412 – apparently a spin off of the long running detective conan series, which I don’t really follow. but from what i read the title character is conan’s rival or something. dated character designs, oldschool long nose jew looking, not kaiji or akagi level but just oldschoolish, which is ok because conan is old. some guy, his dad was a phantom thief in his youth, dead, son learns about this, likes magic and shit, wants to follow in his footseps, thus you get magic kaito, stealing some jews and shit whatever, lighthearted kid family oriented. ok for what is is but whaterver not for me. end song and op song too good for what it is.
Kaitou Joker – sounds alot like magic kaito as mentioned above, and if i didn’t know any better i’d think they would be the same show. same premise, phantom theif, steal some jews shit, similar feel and premise except this guys feels even more kiddie and oldschool. shit feels so similar it could be canon and this main guy is like the younger version of magic kaito’s dad or some shit .lol. whatever, kiddie, plain bad.
Donten ni Warau – horribly bad show about 3 brothers or something living at the turn of the century meji era, last samuri-ish period and they need to protect the peace or something against ronin and shit. female oriented target audience, but even then show is so shit, horrible character designs, 3 brothers generic archypes, gay, very annoying youngest brother, i watched this shit and i still don’t know what exactly they are supposed to be doing, bad, bad art, animation, premise. shit.
Inou Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de – show about a bunch of girls and one guy in the literature club who one day get superpowers and their daily lives getting used to it, doing shit. comedy, funny, parody. pretty good, doesn’t take itself seriousy and has some meta points. character designs are good, all the girls are attractive and the one dude is the usual idiot but he is tolerable. this is made by studio trigger based off light novel i think, the guys who made kill la kill but it looks fairly true to the original source material so it’s good to see that these guys have a diverse range of animation styles. pretty entertaining and light hearted. will watch more
Orenchi no Furo Jijou – 5 minute show about some male merman in a tub and his gay adventures with the owner of the apartment, some dude. obviously for women, can be good i guess, not for me, whatver, 5 minute show
Akatsuki no Yona – show about some princess who loves her cousin, wants to marry him, but is basically engaged to some dude already, who she is alright with but doesn’t really like that much still. show for women. cousin kills princess’s dad, the king for something, some plot or whatever, runs away with other dude out of saftey, women drama, love story, something like that. kinda chinese setting, dynasty warrior. designs kinda bad, main girl is pretty generic shoujou bait, annoying bitch etc. whatever
Trinity Seven – basically another show about some dude getting into magic school with lots of girls harem. there is some plot here and I commened the approach that they took with the first episode in how they write the dude into going to the magic school and is not the usual transfer student etc. not bad here. all the girls fill the necessary archtypes and are fairly attractive. main girl with red hair pretty attractive, ninja girl is cool tool, so far those introduced. main dude is OK, not that annoying but still fills the role of the usual boob scared protaganist etc. good character designs, ok premise, not bad. probably not gonna watch more but worth a watch maybe
Amagi Brilliant Park – kyoto animation’s fall offering. some guy was a child actor when he was young and some strange transfer student girl asks him out to a date to some run-down amusement park. park is pretty shitty and ghetto. first episode is her showing him all of the parks main attractions and stuff, kinda jokes. eventually girl tells him to talk to park manager because is getting angry and fustrated with the date, why did she want to bring him here. meets manager, beautful looking princess girl, tells him everyone working at the park is from another world/dimension and that they are like fairies and have magic and shit. asks main dude to become manager and save the park or else everyone will have to go back to their world etc, gives him magic to convince him. not bad shot, pretty good. beautiful animation and envirionments, main guy is pretty cool, i have no hate for him, main girl is the cold cool ice type girl, pretty attractive still, all the other side girls look good from a glance. cameo apperence of that mouse looking thing from full metal panic, nice touch. pretty good. good show overall, will probably watch more
Gundam Build Fighters Try – sequel to gundam build fighters try. 7 years after the first show. main character is now a girl, wants to gunpla battle and shit but it’s not as popular as before, meets “second coming of reji” in some other guys that looks just like the former in the first season. good meta, good shit, nice pacing, main suid is now burning gundam, instead of strike. better and more fun than gundam in reconqusta in g. ok designs, good premise, sell gundam kits, good shit. hype.
Hi-sCoool! SeHa Girl – 10 minute show about SEGA gaming systems and sega games of the past. basically hyperdimension neptune execpt only sega systems of the past, megadrive, saturn and dreamcast as girls/nendroids learning about old sega games and shit. 3d animation, kinda bad, but because the show is supposed to be meta stupid i forgive it. fucking showed golden axe man, hardcore shit. designs of the girls are actually quite horrible. i have no idea why this show exists. maybe to try and get interest to see if sega will ever make another console system? because it’s kinda sad in that regard, sega being a shadow of it’s former self. will probably watch a bit more for meta jokes.
Garo – The Animation – anime based off a live-action drama a number of years ago. I actually tried watching a bit of the live action show because it’s a bit like power rangers with transformations and shit/monster fighting, stopped because it was too serious and got too female oriented. the drama takes place in the present, this anime is like in the past, medival times or some shit. i’m not sure what’s going on here, maybe the origins or something? garo is like some knight and shit who fights demons who posses people and stuff. ok i guess, really slow pacing, 3d suits are ok, but ovverall bad. whatver
Parasyte – the maxim – this show is interesting. based off the inital op you have no idea what this shit is about. character designs and stuff from OP gives no hint of anything. All you know is that the song is intense, same metal/trance band that did the kaiji op, which was pretty badass. starts out like whatver, some wussy looking guy with glasses doing his usual shit. later at night some bug thing goes into his arm, tries to fight it off. yells, calls his parents, they come seeings nothing, guy thinks it’s a dream, going insane. next day he feels that his hand is feeling weird, ends up saving a little girl with his hand, stops a car with his hand, going insane, scared. rushes some, tries to stab hand, hand kinda morphs and begins talking. going insane. tired, sleeps, wakes up later, his hand got like a mouth and some eyeballs and is kinda like putty/elastic strechy, and extends really long, hand reading some books about biology and shit, guy is like man what is this shit. the hand has a really cute girl voice. hand is so moe. hand doesn’t know what happened, just that as a bug thing it failed, originally supposed to go to brain to take over body, hence title of the show, parasite. hand is pretty chill, be like, i dunno, help you i guess. meets other parasite thing on street in dog, failed, they fight. character designs are whatever but the premise of the show is pretty interesting. will definetly watch more, one of top of season
Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai – some dude school. get dem girls, haremish. usual archtypes, has a slight spin because the main dude can see the future or something. based of galge/vn i think. all of the girls are ok, character designs are good but not the best, seen better in other stuff. mild funny, school life, probably more depth and stuff later on hinted because of dude’s power but whatver. not that great, there are better things to watch.
