Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso – saddest show of the season. love story, slice of life-ish, teen drama, broken dreams/live your dream, music. main guy used to be pro at piano when he was a kid, but stopped playing because his mother died. sad. default win childhood friend is pretty good happy, other friend wants to introduce to some other girl or something. eventuall they mistakening meet, some blonde girl who is a violinist, loves music etc. no doubt they will eventually get together or some shit. but the saddest part is that his childhood friend who is so happy and hype, sports type obviously likes the main guy so much, but the dude doesn’t realize. the poor sports girl is FRIENDZONED HARD, so sad. how can she complete against the blonde girl who loves music? nope. ok designs. nothing special, generic. sentimental drama, dreams. flashbacks etc. whatever bad sad
Shirobako – bunch of girls in highschool run a animation production club. dreams/vow to work in anime indutry in the future. cut to 2-3 years later, main girl looking tired in front of the wheel with some scripts or keyframes or something at night. cue rival animation studio or aquantence pull up beside her. nods. cue initial d racing sequence. basically this show is about the behind the scenes drama/ struggles involved with making anime and all the steps, people involved with animation production. it’s really in-depth and tons of chracters, really real. funny and lighthearted because main chars are cute girls but at times it gets really business sounding and realistic, cause you know, it must be weird making a anime about anime production, hipter meta level inherently high. so many characters it’s hard to follow what everyone is reponsible for. but it’s cool. good designs, pacing, interesting, mild funny slice of life. good show. will watch more. good shit
Ore Twintail ni Narimasu – main dude loves girls with twintail hair style. loves them. has friend that has twintails. funny, jokes, parody, lighthearted. guy writes down on aspiration for future to create a school club dedicated to twin-tail lovers club. later in day eating with friend, some professor looking girl comes him, asks him for help or something. jokes ensues. takes him to some place in city, emergency, some lizard things are taking the essence of girls with twintail hair styles, attacking. dude is like noooo, i want to help, professor girl gives him some bracelet, wear this and you can help she says. he does it, dude becomes a girl, twin tails and all, pretty loli tsun lol. has powers and battle suit. fights off lizard dudes, lizard dudes are like shit i have no regets, girl with twintails killed me so it’s ok lol. jokes. premise kinda reminds me of akiba rangers, like powerrangers, colored heros, red, blue, yellow. pretty jokes parody. good show humor, not taking itself too seriously. good shit.
Girl Friend Beta – based off popular japanese social dating sim game. I know of this because earlier in the year this was all over nico because one of the girls has a weird name and they were making it into jokes and shit. despite it’s name, there is no men in this show, +1 already. girls are pretty good looking, good designs, good animation, standard school lilfe, slice of life kinda thing, cute girls doing cute things. i find it hard to believe how this is supposed to be a game if there is no men? lesbians with the main girl? dunno, still alright, show about nothing, it’s alright, will watch a bit more if there’s anything more to it
Fate Stay Night – Unlimited Blade Works – 00 – technically i shouldn’t review this because it’s just remake fate stay night rin’s route with better studio but whatever. you know the drill, good shit, more in-depth than the UBW movie and light years better in production quality and animation than the first FSN anime. pretty good. shit is long, 45 minutes each. good battles. too bad it’s still FSN, type moon needs some new shit man, it’s already been 10 years since FSN game came out.
Yuki Yuna wa Yusha de Aru – basically second coming of madoka except with better animation and character designs. wheelchair. among top of season since late arrival.
Nanatsu no Taizai – some crap about seven deadly sins fighting holy knights who be bad. some princess wants to find these people, guy happens to be barkeeper, leader of seven dead sins outlaw group. character designs remind of me of modern dbz guy. bad. princess has nice body but ovverall bad show.
Bonjour Sweet Love Patisserie – woman show. gay. etc
I think that ovverall covers most of the shows this season
there might be maybe 1 or 2 that i missed but i think it’s fair to say that this Fall season is ovverall pretty good, nothing extremely stand out must watch just lots of good shows in general
