Hibike! Euphonium – basically kyoto animations take on classical school band a la like k-on. excellent char designs and animation, excellent music. done before concept but then again it’s what kyoto animation does really well. it’really good but i don’t know if i’ll continue watching as it’s similar concept and premise.
Kyoukai no Rinne – bad show. extremely dated looking character designs and poor animations. reminds me of like pokemon or inyasha. girl can see spirits and etc yea whatever. meets some guy that is kinda weird. wears some clothes that makes him like spirit but girl can see him too, friends or something. basically they go around and fix dead people reget problems or whatever. so many plotholes and stupid. girl is not even surprized about seeing spirits and shit. badddddd. laughble concept. just seems so dated. should have been made in 1993.
Urawa no Usagi-chan – 5 minute show about some girl named usagi that i honest think is about nothing and just her and her friends doing cute things. bad whatever, not even good job at doing nothing.
Punch Line – some fag has his soul or spirit whatever knocked out of him, is like a ghost in some terroist attack or whatever. some girl called strange juice is like hero and saves him and the people on the bus he was on. whatever. basically this show is about the main guy trying to get his body back which has been possesed and interacting with this ragtag band of girls who are “heros” and fight bad guys. the world is destroyed if the main kid/ghost guy sees panties or underwear, nosebleed bullshit and some meteor comes blow up world. concept is ok but i think done before. char design is ok, girls are cute but not really my thing. panties and ass drawn really nice. basically this is a panty underwear generic show with hero stuff involved. whatever not my thing
Etotama – basically show about anthropomorphized gods of the chinese zodiac and them trying to get popularity points, kinda a bit like idols or something. main guy is generic cool guy, moves to old apartment, finds hole in house, cat god appears, does funny cat girl stuff etc if guy likes a god, some magic shit is given to them. basically fighting or such. comedy/harem. what’s interesting here is they when the girls fight it goes full on 3d cell shaded like kancolle and they get short and SD chibi form. the 3dcg is actually pretty good for what it is and will will accept it. ok character designs, interesting concept, mild funny, will probably watch more, good fun show.
Vampire Holmes – 5 minute show but probably the worst animation and character designs i’ve seen in a long time. laughably bad. so bad it’s good in a way. horrible. lol gg whatever bad
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha ViVid – return of nanoha franchise except with daughter vivio in school magical setting. expecting school magic battles and shit. char designs are slightly updated for the times but still look very simple which is ok. first ep kinda meh but we’ll see how it goes later. i’ve come this far with this franchise, gotta go all the way and watch it, even if it might be shit like striker s which ruined everything.
Show By Rock!! – headfake show which makes you believe it’s basically k-on with girl who wants to join school band but later is sucked into mobile music game. when in game they are 3d cg and kind of anthropomorphic cats and animal chibi shit. 3dcg is done very very well, but i don’t really like it. main girl looks like gothic lolita cat girl with guitar, meets rest of band girls in game or something. outside of their animal cg forms, they are pretty cute and humanish. interesting concept, probably from game. not really my thing but since the girls are cute i might watch a bit more.
More to come…
