Cover Art: Rise to Fall has been around for a few years now and their covers are usually pretty badass, this one is no different. Based off their previous albums I’ve come to recognize their mascot of sort is that bald looking superhuman magical dude. Yea, this cover is the shit. Would have poster made on wall.
Album Review: Fuck the songs on this album are amazing, probably one of the best this year. I feel that Rise of Fall tracks have a tendency to have each song meld perfectly into one another, as if the entire album is one long epic song but still can hold their own individually, and with that said, just about every song on this album is amazing. I can’t think of a song that I don’t like, the mad tunes don’t let up.
Vocals are perfect, excellent blend of harsh death growls and clean singing usually one after the other and sometimes both at the same time, creating a really cool atmospheric sound with echos and shit. Technical skills of the band and song tempos are perfect, amazing guitar riffs, drumwork, melodies and pacing for tracks, never boring.
One of the best melodic death albums this year.
