Cover Art: What the fuck is this shit? Christoper Lee? Fucking Lord Saruman made a metal album? Whatttttttt shittttt, can not even. Yes, that’s right; before he died this year in 2015 at the ripe old age of 93 Christoper Lee dabbled in making metal music, providing his epic deep wizard like voice for the tunes of metal battle. This particular album I suppose is his Christmas special, a set of two singles appropriately labeled “A Heavy Metal Christmas” and “A Heavy Metal Christmas Too”. Seriously, “Too”? How jokes is that. lol Fuck. The cover itself is pretty horribad but yea, at least you get to see the man himself and there is that background overlay of this face, which is like saying, yea, I’m Santa bitch.
Album Review: This is pretty standard old school-ish heavy metal but honestly, it doesn’t really matter, it’s basically some band playing some Christmas songs in metal style with Christoper Lee reading/singing/providing the vocals. As an evil corrupt wizard and Dracula and all, Lee’s voice is not just a novelty, it’s an experience. Some of the songs have some other female vocalist which I have no idea is, but yea whatever, your here for Lord Saruman.
In total there are 4 songs, The Little Drummer Boy, Silent Night, JINGLE HELL and My Way, with the best songs being drummer boy and JINGLE HELL.
Overall this album is pretty novelty as shit but whatever, it’s effect works.
