Starting our fifth day in Tokyo, we headed out to Ueno Park to get some of that nice peak Sakura blooming and see some trees and some festival stalls setting up in the early morning.
Wow, I guess these primary kindergarten school kids are here for lunch or a daily outing, noice. I always wondered if they wore those funny hats for real, I guess it’s true. It looks like the bigger kids are wearing blue hats while the smaller ones green, interesting.
This photo is godly. Just one of many others that were taken at Ueno Park. While there was alot of people visiting, it wasn’t too bad, at least when we went. No rain today so far so that’s perfect for sure.
Proof of existence. Is is the ideal kind of photo that you would use if we were to die in a natural disaster or some other unnatural cause. Yea, this photo is good for that, so please, if we go missing or die, please use this for the press regarding the incident.
What a god. In the age of smart phones with excellent cameras, we still got this mad lad sporting a giant SLR, to take photos of trees and birds and shit. Aww yea.
So we visited TeamLab Planets, a popular installation art attraction that is the hottest shit. This one is not the more famous TeamLabs Borderless since it was recently closed for renovations/moving to another location, which is too bad.
The journey through the space required that you go barefoot and pull up your pants at least to your knees because there are some parts that have water that goes that high. This photo is a small example, not to mention the god like lighting that makes me look 50 or 60 years old. Gangster.
Another nice photo of myself, look at those green balls, crazy shit man, just crazy. While technically an art installation, I’d say about 99% of people don’t give a shit and are only here for photos and selfies. This is accurate, we are also not immune to becoming famous.
Those shiny rocks man. We are sorry about calling this segment shit, you are wonderful because you produce excellent photos for some reason. Thank you.
This installation was ok, but kinda lame but at the same time, my Godlike photo taking abilities elevated it to ok levels.
Oh shit, here we go boz, it’s Gundam Unicorn. I like how they play the meme Gundam Unicorn transformation music when it goes into destroy mode every two hours.
After witnessing Gundam Uniforn transform, we checked out Diver City shopping building and same some tsukemen ramen from one of the food court places. It was alright, taste good but my only complaint was that the soup would get cold since you are always dipping in colder noodles into it. Some places solve this by adding a hot rock, but since this is not a dedicated shop, I guess they couldn’t bother. Still tastes good tho.
Oh shit, in Diver City, they had a Round One Amusement center, and you know what that meanssss…Crane game tyme!! Oh shit, here we go again. Look at this, I got my first anime figure crane game win ever! I literally got Power in my hands, shit took approximately 3000-3600 yen but I got it and won it for real, none of this suimensan corruption and get help from the arcade attendants to make it easier, I won this 100% fresh new from it’s original spot. Yea boi!!!
After playing a few more Round 1 Amusement games and winning more prizes, we both came to the conclusion that Round One crane games are setup easier and your chances are winning are much higher than other crane places like Taito Station or GiGo/formerly Sega arcades.
But yea, I wonder what’s going to happen tomorrow.
