I think this might be one of the latest overviews for anime in recent memory, most shows are almost over or have already ended but yea, stuff happens. I have been playing FF7 Rebirth, the second game in the remake trilogy of FF7 since the beginning of April which has largely contributed to me not writing shit, also other stuff going on like AN photos and etc. I still have not completed FF7 Rebirth yet despite playing quite a number of hours still, the game is jam packed with so much content and shit to do, it is like double or maybe even triple the amount of content and world size as the first game which is both incredible and daunting. I have spent over 130+ hours and I think I am roughly 85% ‘done’ the game, not sure if that includes side quests and optional stuff but man, this game is so big. Slayer came out in Guilty Gear Strive and I haven’t been able to play because FF7 man, priorities, but then again I haven’t really played Guilty Gear that much since this year at all, ah-well. Anyways, let’s see what this season of anime offers.

Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku – Mad lad insanity train show that tries to be unique but kind of misses the mark in pacing, characters and overall presentation/story. The world has gone to shit in Japan because they turned on “7G” network or something and the result is that it mutates and changes human dna by accident or something to like mutants, basically fucking up the world/Japan in a post-apocalypse world. The only people that are unaffected are girls/youth that are like teenagers and some end up one off going to Shibuya looking for their friend that went missing like years ago who was at the center of the 7G downfall or something like that. Everything on paper was good but the execution and dialog of the first episodes are so boring and heavy I lost interest by like ep 3-4. Too bad.

Kami wa Game ni Ueteiru – Some show about people playing pro puzzle brain games and they find some god girl who ends up going to school with them or something because story or trouble with the world. Pass.

Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life – Absolute generic isekai show about some guy who failed and gets a cheat skill at lvl 2. Trash.

Re Monster – Isekai trash where main character is isekaied as a goblin in a fantasy world. More trash, even worst since goblin.

Tadaima, Okaeri – Ultimate gay shit, I learned about the omegaverse realm of gay fanfiction and fandom that dated back from gay star trek fanfiction from the 70’s and 80’s but now anime where some men have vaginas and can have babies and some women have dicks. I have obtained more knowledge of our world and human culture, but at what cost? Not worth it.

Dainanaoji – Isekai trash show that has good animation and battles apparently. Re-incarnated as some blue haired boy that looks too plump and girlish to be a boy that wears short shorts, attracts that gays and women I suppose due to trap factor. He apparently collects a number of girl harem fantasy girls in his pursuit of magic and such growing up but nah. Not for me, pass.

Spice and Wolf (2024) – Remake of classic macro economic slice of life LN/anime from like decades ago. Seems good, not my thing tho. Pass.

Dekisoko – Some guy used to be a yuusha, but then he wasn’t, wants to live peacefully now, until he can’t. Pass.

Unnamed Memory – “My wish as champion is for you to descend the tower and be my wife.” lol

Boukyaku Battery – Totally not gay baseball anime about the usual. Boy and friend used to be hot shit in middle school being ballers, until one of them lost their memory and wasn’t anymore. Boy and friend go to school with no baseball team cause bros still, learn to discover baseball again and be pro, totally not gay but is now gay because of course.

Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote – Show about idol voice actors and their daily life and drama about anime voice acting/radio. Main girl is a gal but her work persona is a pure idol, second main girl is a quiet introvert girl but her work persona is idol dance girl. I like this show, the girls are good and the premise is interesting to me. Nice voice acting of course with drama I will finish this show probably. Good shit.

Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi – Something about solving paranormal activity or some mystery about yokai or something with a main girl with pretty big boobs, like it’s a plot point literally, they make it a thing. Pass.

Bartender – Kami no Glass – Low budget trash storytelling in a bar. Basically budget netflix tokyo dinner stories live action.

Kenka Dokugaku – Show about being famous and going viral online and main guy ends up in a weird partnership with some guy who they had a fight with and recorded and posted online, gaining tons of views and shit. Basically ghetto kiddie fight club but for youth I wanna be famous on youtube the anime. Nop.

Megaton-kyuu Musashi – Old school looking mecha anime character designs that Hololive talents voiced acted for fun but not the entire show, so whatever. Pass.

Yuru Camp S3 – Oh shit, good shit. It’s been awhile since S2 and i kind of forgot some of the characters. I ended up watching the movie after S2 thinking it was needed but no, it’s totally not needed for S3. Opps. Will watch for sure.

Madome – Following the same line of shield hero with “my new slave is now my wife” or at least he wants to we have a main fantasy wizard guy who ends up saving/buying a pretty elf girl at a slave market and ends up becoming his servant in his castle. He wants to get close to her but can’t because he has social problems and can’t talk shit and can’t help but sounding like edgelord. The girl is cute but doesn’t really get him or his intentions. This is a comedy show but it’s just too slow and the trope has been done before to a degree. Not bad but pass.

Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai – Romance anime about some average looking girl who ends up dating and becoming the girlfriend of the most popular boy at school who has had lots of prior girlfriends and etc. It’s a show at it’s core a just like me FR FR kind of thing for girls but yea, what I saw was ok but yea, not for me. Pass.

Wind Breaker – Hooligan anime about a gang guy who wants to not be a hooligan at school but ends up becoming one anyways for the local community/shopping district because of course and he can fight. Looks like the market for Tokyo Revengers with gangs are in I guess. Pass.

Henjin no Salad Bowl – A nice joke chill joke show about a bunch of fantasy people reverse isekai into the normal modern world in Japan and living their life. The main girl is some blonde princess of some kingdom and gets picked up by some detective and ends up living with him solving minor crimes and detective work, the girl has some magic and powers. The other main girl is a white hair lady knight, the main guard of the blonde princess that for some reason ends up becoming homeless/jobless and ends up doing a whole bunch of joke things to live and survive in modern Japan. You would think that the blonde princess and the detective would be the main characters but having watched like 70% of the show, most episodes focus on white haired homeless lady knight lol. Anyways, chill show, will watch and finish, gud shit.

Astro Note – This weird lady who works at my boarding house is an alien from another world and the main guy is some talented chef who got fired from his old workplace because his boss and coworkers didn’t like him because so pro. Yea, kinda weird not my thing. Pass.

The iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors – I like idolmaster in general, i really do, but this is not Cinderella girls and is also 3d anime, so shit, pass.

Highspeed Etoile – Sci-fi future racing anime, aka F-Zero the anime, but not but with cute girls and idols. Not really feeling it, so pass.

One Room, Hiatari Futsuu, Tenshi-tsuki – Some shit happens and boy ends up living with/being a roommate with a girl at school who is an angel. hi-jinks and romance/slice of life ensue. Pass, not for me.

Kaijuu 8-gou – Some show about a dude who is sad that he is so shit, wanted to be a hero int he army special forces but ended up just being a janitor for the army that cleans up kaiju monster shit once the pro team kills them. Some girl childhood friends ends up being pro solider and he is sad that he is a loser that failed at his dream. Some shit happens and he ends up becoming some kaiju warrior hybrid shit after almost dying and yea, that’s the show. The show is alright but not enough for me, pass.

Kuroshitsuji – Kishuku Gakkou-hen – Black butler anime following the manga and not not anime, I don’t know what I watched but it’s like Harry Potter and apparently Disney twisted wonderland the mobile game. Sure, not for me tho, women will love it tho.

Dragon Raja – Chinese propaganda.

Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai – Shortened by most people as just “Jellyfish” the show features a bunch of girls trying to get famous via forming a band and online activities consisting of a variety of interesting girls such as a graffi artist, vtuber, former idol and etc. People say it’s the hottest shit and it seems that way too because the quality of animation and character design is higher than average. Not bad, but there is too much things going on right now and stuff to watch that I can’t probably, maybe, but probably not.

Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau – Yuri gay show that has a good looking white haired band girl and a younger red haired girl who admires her. Red hair girl says that she loves white haired girl but white haired girl misunderstood that she loved her music, which is is embarrassed about for getting mixed up; jokes on you, red haired girl does actually like you for real; and also, your gay white haired girl just accept it. Not bad, but not for me, hey always make the girls so pretty in these gay Yuri shows, they have to I guess.

The New Gate – lol Sword Art Online bootleg except after not kirito saves the world and everyone can leave the game, everyone dies actually and he is transported 500 years into the future of the game world where he continues but no one knows what happens. Also, the game world has become real I guess? Isekai Overlord bootleg too? Trash Trash shit.

Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai – Skimmed this this, something about crows and not-china. Pass.

Tonari no Youkai-san – Dead cat evolves when he dies and becomes a nekomata yokai that can talk and shit. In this world this is the norm and common occurrence, weird shit. Cat learns how to use his powers and live as a sentient yokai thing with humans, chill show and slice of life but man, weird shit. Not for me, pass.

Vampire Dormitory – Vampire version of Ouran highschool host club where the main boy is actually a girl. Yep, nice and not gay, but is totatlly gay regardless. Pass.

Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru – Old grandma and grandpa become young again after saving a apple tree and it grows golden fruit in which they eat, making them young again in their late teens/early 20’s. While the concept is interesting, the pacing is kind of bad and the animation quality and budget is questionable. It’s supposed to be wholesome and comedy but the bulk of the comedy is just these two old fools doing young people shit again and are like, oh wow, youth. Not bad, but probably not.

Tensei Kizoku, Kantei Skill de Nariagaru – More iseaki bullshit but this time the guy has no powers but appraisal skill, yawn, budget slime again I guess.

Mushoku Tensei S2 – Rudus journey continues and with having solved his ED in the previous cour, looks to be off on a journey again looking for his mom and meet up with Roxy again. Good shit, have been watching and up to date as of this writing.

Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Geiko-hen – Oh boy another yaiba anime arc, at least they know what’s up, this one is literally called Hashira training arc and you can expect all the usual training shit that come with shonen shows like this. Good shit, godly animation.

Overall this season has lots of sequels and shows that are high profile but I don’t watch like Konosuba but a few new shows that are cool like Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote and Henjin no Salad Bowl. Of course I’ll watch all the other long running stuff that I watch but yea, pretty packed season, something for everyone I suppose. Good shit.
