Overall this fall season is kind of shit. A few gems amist the ruins but yea, mostly shit and generic stuff.
Shomin Sample – Another anime harem show with generic main guy and a bunch of typical archetype girls. Main guy is usual faggot who is the most “normal” in his school. Gets kidnapped by a bunch of muscular buff army men and dropped off in front of some other school. Maid girl standing in front waiting for him, explains that he is to be the “specimen” or “sample” transfer student for this all girl super rich school for teaching traditional japanese lady-like behavior. Reasoning is that the girls are so sheltered and stupid about the outside world that they have a hard time getting used to society once they leave school and end up being neet’s and hikkomori’s because they are so disillusioned, thus this faggot is supposed to help ease them in. Yea, whatever. Jokes come from the stupidity of the girls about boys/ technology/world and the fact that the school heads think he is gay and has a muscle/army man fetish, which he doesn’t, which is also the reason why they chose him, because they think he’s gay and won’t sex the girls etc. designs are ok, girls are ok, concept generic, main girl is happy fun, wants to start commoner’s club to learn more etc. kinda whatever, will watch next ep to see but likely drop.
Garo – The Crimson Moon – So liek this is another Garo anime, which takes place in another timeline-past? Not really sure but the last time they made a Garo anime it was pretty shitty. Anyways, this one takes place in ancient japan again. Main character is actually some magic wizard girl, blue hair plays biwa and shit, kinda cool/beautiful. So she does some shit and guy who is Garo shows up with his faggot little kid friend, and fights demons. They partners and know each other. Op sequence is really slow, fucking spanish waltz slow jam fall asleep level. Show itself is alright so far, good character designs, decent execution and source material i guess is good. Whatever, still not going to watch. Not for me.
Brave Beats – If you combine pokemon, yu-gi-oh with hiphop dance and beats you get this abomination. What the fuck is this shit. Who is this for? So you got some little boy who finds some robot toy in the street, robot is actually alive, talks and shit, can dance and do some break dancing shit. Gay friend #2 finds some magical pokeball thing and it makes him really fast and a master of MOONWALKING. Ends up moonwalking like a crack-head during track and field running laps, ruining everyone’s shit. Main kid is liek yo wtf yousuke or whatever his shit gay bro is and his robo toy is like, hey, combine with me and we can stop him. Cue transformation sequence with robo toy and the little boy becoming a grown man, even more gay. So he then break dances shit doing some POWER TORNADO FLASH faggot move and beats his gay friend. wtf wut. robot is like yea, i need to collect all the dance moves, good thing i got MOONWALKING down, shit’s too dangerous, i wanna be king. wtf lol. Horrible art, horrible idea, shit music, horrible animation, horrible choice of dance. Like, is this for girls? kids? old people who like hip hop? Micheal Jackson? worst of season.
Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka S2 – Season 2 of top take it easy slice of life show about rabbit cafe and cute girls doing cute things. Good designs, good animation, good concept, will watch for sure.
Valkyrie Drive ~Mermaid~ – So I heard you like boobs. This show is all about action and boobs and it delivers everything that you could ever want and more. Some school fighting whatever, some girl feels out of place and all of a sudden is on a beach, doesn’t know what’s going on. Walks around and encounter a couple of girls in bikni’s, after some useless banter one girl starts to feel up and molest the other, other girl gets turned on and transforms into a machine gun, other girl starts firing gun. Red head main girl is scared but then some other busty blonde girl magically flies in and saves her. After modest boob groping and intimacy, main girl transforms into a sword for the blonde girl and shit, fight, win. Boobs have been seen. Fast forward a bit a similar scenario occurs, boobs are revealed and kissing happens between the main girl and blonde girl, transforms to sword, win. Boobs have been seen. Did I mention that these boobs are available uncensored? (Commie subs, Horrible is censored) So liek, I should actually be saying, nipples have been had. Wow. Anyways this is top boob show now, all the other girls have nice chests and no doubt are fairly attractive. No men to be seen? No problem. Main target audience is for men and maybe lesbian women, so we good here. Concept done before, somewhat generic but since the character designs and animation are ok, we good. Probably will watch at least a bit more of this. lol.
Ani Tore! EX – Some 5 minute show about exercise with some cute anime girl doing push ups and sit-ups and useless banter about wanting to eat ice creme. I suppose this is to help encourage people to exercise. Not bad for what it is, maybe it’s time to do some exerciseeeeeeeeee…well not really, the power of anime is not strong enough.
Utawarerumono – Itsuwari no Kamen – So I thought this was a sequel of some sort of the previous anime based off the visual novel game which is pretty old I think now. I was told otherwise that this is kind of standalone so i gave this a watch, my general impressions is that it’s too damn slow, I don’t know what’s going on. Got fool dude just appears to wake up and be like wow, I have no idea what i’m doing or who I am. Oh look, cute cat girl with ears shows up and saves me from a monster. yay. Gonna walk a bit with her, she mai guardian I think, she gonna take gud care of me. yea whatever. They get into town and he eats shit with the girl, after have to fix some shit in town for payment. Main guy just goes fixes some waterwheel like a wizard and some pro leader guy is like yea, you the man, main guy is like, aw yea, whatever. end show. the guy himself is ok, faggot level is not that high and has potential to be pro but I have no idea. Main girl is cute obviously cuz of cat ears and tail and kind/responsible. I’m not really sure what kind of show this is supposed to be, i’m assuming harem/action/serious but not sure. No op or ending sequence so I have no idea what’s to come. Not really my thing.
There may be a few mini shows that I missed but yea, that’s about it.
Overall this fall season is kind of shit, there’s not a whole lot going on that interests me and an overabundance of usual generic light novel magic school harem type shows and sequels to previous shows.
