This is pretty shit cover art guys. Each Of The Days is a Japanese meldodeath band which if I remember correctly, is composed of former Lost Eden band members, or at least the lead vocalist and guitarist, as usual. Lost Eden only released one studio album and then disbanded around 2009 for whatever, usual band reasons I guess, also cause you know, a few other bands also had claim to the name “Lost Eden”, so yea not surprising. I really liked Lost’s Eden’s single album, it was really rough and guttural metal yet still retaining melodeath elements. Well, Each Of The Days does sound similar but not quite, rather, this offering sounds more refined and polished, but not in the same way you would think that is good. I actually like some metal sounding kind of like it came from a garage recording, yea, kinda ghetto.
Well, aside from the questionable cover art, what is this supposed to mean guys? A crow? Really? It’s so damn pixel-y too, what the fuck guys? Rebel City? Wow, wut. The music on this album is pretty good melodeath, all of the tunes are there and the riffs are tight and well balanced. Vocals are strong although they sometimes go into a metalcore kind of mode with breakdown cut-ins and distrupt the flow of some tracks, some like it, others not so much; I’m in the ladder camp. This is technically their second studio album as Each Of The Days and I think it is better overall than their first offering but to me it doesn’t stand out or have any outstanding tracks as their predecessor band, Lost Eden. Solid metal, but nothing exceptional.
Score: 7
