Like most scale figures that I buy, they usually end up sitting around unopened for at least a period of time; for Tougetsu Matsuri here, it’s been about 4-5 months since I first received her. When I buy a figure, I usually justify the purchase using a variety of factors; sometimes it’s because the figure itself looks amazing, other times it’s because it’s a character that I like, usually both requirements need to be satisfied in order to proceed with a purchase/pre-order. However, all of that reasoning can get thrown out the window if the figure is just too lewd/erotic in nature to pass up. This figure falls primarily into that aforementioned category, plus the fact that I don’t have any girls in china dress/cheongsam yet, so ya.
Tougetsu Matsuri is an original character by the popular ero-doujin artist Misaki Kurehito, most well known as the character designer of galge/anime, saenai heroine no sodatekata. Apparently this character was featured as cover art for the ero-mag, Comic Aun in their October 2013 issue, heh.
The box for this figure is pretty cool, manufacturer Alphamax know their shit when it comes to their ero/NSFW figure line, Skytube; they always try to limit the amount of racy images on the box and do this deluxe open window thing, preventing any casual onlookers from getting an idea of what the hell you are actually buying and keeping it discrete and conspicuous. They also are nice to put the non-ero version of the original illustration on the inside flap of the box, also seen below:
An interesting bonus that they added for this figure is two postcard illustrations, one has the same illustration above, the other, the full ero version. To be honest, Misaki kurehito’s girls don’t have anything particularly notable that stand out from let’s say Tony, Raita or Ishikei’s style, they are just well; drawn really well. If anything I would say big eyes/ detailed hair bangs/twintails and the tendency for this artist to use flesh-toothed mouths are Misaki’s main stylistic traits.
At this point one may be asking, what makes Matsuri so NSFW/lewd? There isn’t any visible bare boobs or such yet and she has a pretty cute/modest facial expression? Well, let me tell you, she has a ton of removable/swappable parts. Too much in fact, I spent almost close to an hour just trying to get her out of the box and disassembling and re-assembling her with all of her various parts/options but before I detail some of that, here is how she looks in her “Safe” setup.
With a slight turn, you can obviously tell that she is meant to be displayed at the same vantage point as the original illustration as her face is largely obscured by her hair. However, at this angle you get a better view of her boob shape and very nice leggings. Unlike some figures which go with real life pantyhose material, Alphamax opted to have it painted, which is done very well. The decals on her clothes are also very well done and fit the whole china dress thing perfectly.
From another angle you can also get a glimpse of her sexy back, garderbelt + stockings and other details such as the well defined hair part that goes into making her chun-li-ish twin-tails hairdo.

If you haven’t noticed yet the base for Matsuri is actually a mirror, which clearly reflects her…currently exposed lower body. This is not a mistake, yes, those are indeed female genitalia that have been sculpted, a rare feature that only a handful of figure manufacturers even dare to venture into. While I did say that this is supposed to be the most “Safe” configuration for Matsuri; I lied, on a scale from 1 to 10 on lewdness, right now would be like a 3 or 4. Matsuri actually does come with plastic panties that you can attach but I couldn’t figure it out and get it fastened properly where it would stay on, so fuck it, no panties for you, your naked below, pretend you are a character from Saki. If I did manage to get her fully clothed, that setup would still be like a 1-2 on the lewdness scale just because of her pose and facial expression.
The setup pictured above is what I would rate a 6 or 7 on the lewdness sale. As it can be seen, Matsuri also comes with a much more suggestive face and a swapable chest piece to showcase her bare boobs and bring out the best in her with that tight fitting dress.
Similarly to earlier, a slightly different angle brings upon a whole different meaning when you use the alternative parts. So lewd.
Her back obviously doesn’t change much with this setup but it’s worth noting again that you get some small sideboob thing going on here although it’s hidden behind her hair.
Upclose and personal shot of the lady bits in detail. Pretty well done I might add. Base is very intricately detailed as well, although who gives a shit if you have something like this for the base.
From the picture above you can see in detail her distressed open mouthed facial expression and very nice bare boob alternate pieces. Maybe it’s my camera, lighting or the photoshop processing I ran it through but it’s hard to tell that she has purple eyes, but yea, they are purple. Another thing to note from this picture are the ring bracelets on her hands, they really are just individual rings that they give you, six in total 3 for each arm. You get them on by actually removing her arms and putting them on like that, which I found kind of interesting. In fact, just about every limb on Matsuri is removable, her two arms, her head, face, hair, both legs and lower torso are their own separate pieces.
With so many different pieces you can mix things up and display her clothed/ semi-clothed or change her face to whatever you like. Bare boobs and shy face? No problem.
I on the other hand would most likely display her matching closest to the original illustration, full ero-style. If you haven’t spotted it yet, the full-ero illustration also has her with… a personal pleasure device being inserted into her lady-parts…this setup is also possible as well. Yes, you read that right, they also provided a separate lower body half that has an exceptionally large…hole to insert said toy, and yes, that means they included a miniature pink dildo.
Fuck, too lewd.
In the interests of preventing this post/site from deteriorating any further in decency, I’d rather not take pictures of the aforementioned setup, since you know; it’s already like a 9-10 on the lewdness scale. Personally, I’d rather keep that pink dildo wrapped up still in the box anyways.
All in all, Tougetsu Matsuri has exceeded my expectations when it comes to ero-figures, probably one of the most, if not most erotic and lewd figures that I own, granted that you set her up that way. Alphamax has done an exceptional job on the sculpt, paintwork and overall production quality of this figure, providing me very little to complain about. If anything, the sheer amount of alternative parts, which are admittedly kind of a bitch and pain in the ass to assemble would be my main contention as usual but in this case, I would turn a blind eye since they do provide a lot of different options for display.
What’s also interesting about Matsuri is that she’s also pretty popular, lots of people apparently own her according to myfigurecollection.net; more than 400+ owners which is a bit strange for a ero-figure; which I guess is mainly attributed to the fact that you can display her with varying levels of indecency ranging from”Safe” to “Extremely Lewd”, which obviously would be a huge plus for the more modest/shy figure collectors.
Excellent figure for what it is, would display nude, don’t give a shit.
