Fall season continues to roll on with some more interesting shit and some totally forgetable bullshit.

Monster Hunter Stories Ride On – Honestly, I didn’t really watch all of this bullshit show. I just kind of skimmed through it and already concluded it was a shit show for kids. How this is related to monster hunter is beyond me but from what I gather; main kid gets a dragon baby and him and his 2 other friends go a a journey doing shit. The end. Bad.

Touken Ranbu – Hanamaru – So this finally happened, the browser flash game which is a copy of kancolle except even crappier gets an anime too. The basic premise of touken ranbu is basically this: the souls or spirits of  japanese swords which were welded by famous samurais back in the days are now handsome gay men/boys and you now as the “master” go and collect them to fight badguys who want to change history. Yea, sounds pretty convoluted but that’s basically it, according to the show, the year is actually 2205, so in the future people have actually invented time travel and a bunch of bad guys want to change history by going in the past and fucking shit up. To stop this, you collect the spirits of the famous historical swords and they end up being boys, they never explain why it’s that way but it doesn’t really matter. So yea, for what it is, it’s decent but the first episode is pretty non-flowing and confusing, introducing too many sword-boys and attempts at funny/fun gay moments. The main characters are split between one guy that has black hair and the other with blue hair, so basically red guy and blue guy heh. Although for women, I can’t help but feel that the execution of this show is much worse than kancolle. Decent concept, decent character designs, decent animation, disconnected flow and inconsistent tone. Maybe watch more but we’ll see.

Magic-Kyun! Renaissance – Another gay show but alot better than most. So we have Mai, dunnno why just Mai here and she is special. She is really good at flower arrangement, just like her dead mom, so good that it’s magical; literally and when she does good shit flowers and magical shit pops up around you like confetti or other paper shit, except magic shit ye. So yea, Mai ends up going to a magical school for the arts, where she is greeted by a large cast of gay men who are good at arts, such as painting, sculpture, calligraphy, dancing, singing etc. You get the idea. The best guy or “the King” of the school is black hair guy with red eyes and is pro singing guy. When he does his magical singing, crystal roses flow around the area and shit. wow, gay. Good character design, good concept, good animation, gay. Not for me but good if your a women or gay.

Gakuen Handsome – Best gay mini show of the season by a long shot. So we have some school right, inside of it are a bunch of gay men who are just all so Handsome. We have gay main character #1, he is gay, that is his identity. He and the rest of the cast go on and do gay fun time things. Nice. It’s never spoken of or addressed but the art and character designs of this show is intentional horrendous, all the guys look butt ugly with super long ass skinny heads, pointy sharp jaws and huge ass jew noses and eye shapes that can only be described as failed circles. Shit’s a masterpiece, will watch more for sure.

Trickster – Another forgettable show that is somehow based on edogawa ranpo’s mystery works. We have some fags running around who are in the boys detective club, main boy is questionable in what the hell he is doing. Other main get, the Aketchi is looking pretty shitty and gruff. Throw in a few girls and a boy that has some magical force field shit that kills anything that gets near to him and you basically have the show. Shit happens between these characters which force them to interact with each other and adapt to the changing situation of the times etc etc. Done before concept, shitty designs except one girl, horrible male characters, horribad pacing and story line, like what story? Watch something else.

Shakunetsu no Takkyuu Musume – This is basically Ping Pong The Animation except cute moe girls version. Combine Saki and Ping Pong the Animation and you get this pretty much. Yea, this is a good show that I would like. So basic premise is that transfer student comes in, wants to play ping pong, meets the ace of the ping pong club and shows her around, goes for a few casual games. Ace girl is PURPLE HAIRED TSUNDERE, who only likes to play because she is the best and gets praised by others, oh yea but when new transfer student plays her, she is actually challenged and notices her skill level. Main girl is pretty main, red short hair with long ribbons kinda dumb and airheaded/clumsly but super pro at ping pong. Later on main girl casually plays the other ping pong club members and owns them all, gets challanged by big boob pink hair senpai of the club, like 3th or 4th best in the club, gets owned. Purple haired ace girl is like oh fuck, I can’t allow this to happen, I want all the attention and challenges main girl. End episode. What’s interesting about this show is the actual character designs of the girls, at first they look out of place and strange, like their heads don’t’ seem to match their more realistically portioned bodies but you get used to it. Besides, how can I resist cute girls playing sports and the eventual tournament battle that will no doubt ensue as the show progresses? I can’t, that’s why I’ll be watching this. Done before concept, cute/ although a bit strange looking character designs for girls, sports with girls, PING PONG. Solid pacing. Yep, gonna watch this.

ViVid Strike! – This apparently is an original sequel of sorts after the events of the last nanoha series which featured Vivio and Einhart Stratos basically going kung fu on everything and punching shit up in sports tournament style. I didn’t watch the last nanoha serious after the first few episodes because it was boring and the cast of characters I totally didn’t remember other than Vivio and I think a few cameos of Nanoha.  However, based on what I saw from this, Vivio and Einhart are friends now and opened up a martial arts dojo to train profession fighters and such. The main character now is a new tough girl from the streets that always gets into fist fights and wants to show her old friend back in the day that she is strong, who is now a pro competitive fighter. The main girl has brown hair in a ponytail and green ribbon, kinda teenager, older than Vivio it seems, reminds me of IF from the Neptune series of games, named Fuka. Basically some shit happens and she meets Einhart and friends and invite her to train with them, reluctant at first but gets beat up pretty good and gets shown the error of her ways and decides to train with them to get stronger. The End. The direction of this franchise has spiraled horribly downwards after Nanoha Strikers S with the introduction of Vivio and the means of fighting from weapon based magic/energy/beams to martial arts with no magic or energy beams. Fuck. However, this show seems to try to bring the series at least back to it’s thematic roots of “Friendship” fighting which is good and focus on a much smaller cast of characters. Main girl’s transformed/armored clothes is a bit similar to Hayates transformed clothes and her rival’s is pretty good too, long with hair with a white dress with black frills and trims, slight cape thing on her hips. Tone of the show is more serious than last offering. Done before concept but I’ll see if this new show can capture my attention.

Nobunaga no Shinobi – Mini show about a girl ninja that works under Nobunaga. Kinda funny and very chibi super deformed state. Ninja girl leaves Iga village to answer the call to serve Nobunaga. Goes to town, meets Nobunaga and friends, says some funny things and does some more ninja things. Funny. Pretty ghetto but mildly entertaining. Simple concept but will probably watch more because the ninja girl is cute. Base concept, ninja girl has nice voice and is pretty ninja happy, Nobunaga. Base. Watch more.

Nanbaka – Crazy ass bitch show about gay hooligans trying to break out of prison. A wannabe Jojo in terms of character designs and style but kind of fails badly. So we have a crew of very ugly looking and colorful prison guys and all they want to do is break out of all of the prisons in the world. They are stationed at alleged the “strongest” prison in the world. Ok. They try to break out in the opening minutes, passing all these trials and traps but once they get outside are simply beat up by the head prison warden, some bald looking guy with a scar. All of the gays are kinda jokers and gay and satisfy the requirement for female interest, gay trope guy 1, gay trope guy 2, gay trope guy 3, etc you get the idea; too lazy to list features and powers of escape. So yea, main guy throws in some mild story about trying to find this prison guy that permanently gave him locks and chains on his neck and arms/legs. Whatever. Tries to be funny and comically but it just feels strange for me. Interesting concept, ugly crazy bitch neon character designs, everyone has fangs, undesirable characters, only prison guy is ok, laced with hidden story, too hard. Not for me.

Soushin Shoujo Matoi – So I heard you liked magical girls? This is pretty much it, except kind of weirdly done. So we have normal girl, let’s call her Hikari cause she seems like one, so Hikari and her friend, Juri; because it’s kind of a bitch name are working at a shrine being mikos and all that. Juri is the daughter of the priest which makes her a real shrine maiden. Ok. Hikari’s dad is a detective and her mother is missing/dead/gone, not specified yet. Some random white blonde women comes around and asks to look at some old relics that alleged used for fighting demons and paranormal monsters, that’s her specialty of research. Blonde women tries, finds nothing. Later some shit happens and some possesed demon guy goes to the shrine and attacks Juri and Hikari. Juri is kinda dumb and says lets try to use magical relics and shit, tries, fails but some other shit happens and Hikari transforms into a magical girl and kills/stops the demon guy. Dad comes up and is all like omg mai waifu, i’m so gld u finally cam bak, and hugs her and ends up touching her boobs at the same time, apparently not realizing that this transformed girl in his daughter. Hikari is like wtf are you doing, do I look like mom right now and punches her dad and runs away into the forest. She de-transforms but ends up naked and screams in teh forest. lol. This show is not bad but suffers from some pacing and basic interest story. Like really? The concept is so done before the only thing that keeps attention is the girls, which mind you, look kind of strange which I suppose is the result of weird character designs. Like the men in the show look realistic looking and proportionate, while the girls look more moe and simplified, clash of styles I think but it’s decent. Dunno, probably not watch more but we’ll see, maybe deserves a episode 2.

Yuri!!! on Ice – So we have it finally, it finally happened. A gay anime about figure skating. Wow. Kinda can’t believe but for what it’s worth, it’s actually very good at what it does, that is provide ace gay material for female fans. So we have Yuri, and he is a figure skater. The show starts off at the ending or near end of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic games. Our boy Yuri had just fucked up, and failed pretty hard at his event. Ahwell, he’s getting to watch his childhood idol, some Russian figure skater up close and personal, let’s call him Alexei because that sounds Russian enough. Our boy Yuri got into the fag sport of figure skating because of Alexei, he loves his shit and all but he’s getting old now, like late 20’s and this will likely be his last Olympic games. So our boy Yuri is about to head back home at the airport and is confronted by another russian gay skater, who also happens to be named Yuri; tells him he should give up because if your not serious, no point having 2 Yuri’s in the sport. Whatever, gay. Turns out that Russian Yuri is being hyped up as the next Alexei cause you know, Russians. But ye, japanese Yuri goes back to japan or whatever. Finishes university and gets fat, goes back to his old hometown because he doesn’t know what to do anymore. Meets old friends and shit, family, ask what you doing here etc. Flashback to childhood and does a perfect copy of Alexei’s routine, pro shit, dunno why he sucks so much at competition, old friend’s or something secretly videos him, puts online. Some other shit happen and basically Alexei comes to Yuri’s town and is all like, yo, I saw your video online, I’m going to train you to be my successor and be your coach. The animation for the skating segments are extremely well done, i’m sure they had to do some really good motion capture or rotoscoping somehow;  the rest of the characters are typically gay looking boys but there is also a few girls although not important. The premise of this show is really gay but it’s done so well that it at least deserves a second look. We’ll see.

TO BE HERO – So I’m a pimp player right of women, I design toilet seats but I have a special ability that can determine women’s hip size just by looking at them. Yea, I am also extremely handsome and I used to be married but my wife left me cause I dunno. Oh Yea, I also have a teenage daughter who is moderately alright looking, maybe even cute but she hates me and beats me up all the time because I’m such a player. So anyways some shit happens while I was taking a shit at home and I got sucked into the toliet into some other dimension, basically Mario the plummber greeted me, he’s like some god or whatever and says yo, do you want to be a hero. I’m all like, nah man, not really, but then Mario is all like, nope to bad, you gotta save the world or whatever. Ok, so I agree and I get flushed back up to my house. Fuck, I don’t feel any different but I look in the mirror and I am butt ugly, I am no longer a handsome fly motherfucker but instead a balding, fat, perverted looking middle aged man. What happened to my looks man? I try to explain something to my daughter when I get out of the toilet but everything I say gets morphed into some other shit, like when I say “I am your father! There’s no doubt about it!” shit gets turned into “I am a pervert! There’s no doubt about it!” or “You were born when I was 22!” to “You look just like my favorite wank material from when I was 22!”. Fuck. So anyways I get thrown out and end up killing some bug, which apparently was an enemy alien I was supposed to protect with my powers. What the fuck, what powers? I kill some other shrimp looking thing. Wow I am so powerful I guess? Yea, I am watching this shit, too jokes to not watch this mini show.

Kiitarou Shounen no Youkai Enikki – So some introduction happens. Apparently youkai world and shit. Narrator talks about some war between youkai. War happens and monster things fight I guess. On each side is a girl and on the other a boy. They look human. They fight but end up like fighting over petty shit like, angry because you ate all my icecream or whatever, while all the youkais are killing each other. They stop and make up. The war is over, the story now begins. The End. What the hell is this shit. Probably drop but maybe watch more, mini shows I can swallow since it’s like so short.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure – Diamond is Unbreakable – Shit. This show is still going? Man this jojo arc really is the worst ever but while it has picked up near the end of the previous cour with excellent deaths of some bitch characters, it’s still a drag to watch, like every story is so episodic and filled with crazy stupid bullshit, it’s annoying. It’s like the author wants you to hate everyone in the show. Ahwell, will still end up watching this cause Jojo.

Bernard Jou Iwaku – Some stupid mini show about some girls and her friends. Basically girl knows everything about a ton of books but doesn’t actually read any of them and this angers some of her friends and shit since she’s too lazy to read the books and shit but acts likes she knows all that. The story is shit I don’t understand the premise or the jokes, characters and semi-chibi and look simple shit, bad. Whatever probably not watch more but you never know for mini shows.
