Looks like another kancolle boat event is over and for the most part I got everything that I wanted except for one girl; Teruzuki. But that’s ok, I’m sure there will always be more time for her in future events, besides I already have both of her sisters for AA capabilities so ye, just wanna complete the duck trinity. This event was alot smaller than previous events; only 3 maps but in some respects more annoying; although without question overall much easier than large scale events. Here are the notable new boats that I added to my collection.
6. Yamagumo
Here we go again, another fucking Gumo added to the collection of garbage destroyers. And Yamagumo is looking like to be among one of the worst designs yet. I think she was introduced in the last event as a drop but I didn’t really give a shit. Even now as I got her I still don’t give a shit. I guess that’s the problem with having so many ships of the same type, just way too many of them and you can’t deviate too much or else it’s not consistent. Shame really because since there was so many Gumos it just means it was a successful design and probably the standard. Ahwell, ugly silver hair, looks like shit, probably will never level up or use.
5. Asagumo
Another Gumo strikes again. Fuck. Well at least visually Asagumo looks much better than the other Gumo that I got; you can almost say that she looks cute. Just maybe. Well on the wiki there is a image comparing her saying that she looks like the maintenance fairy or cat fairy that you see once in awhile. Maybe, kinda I guess? At least her face doesn’t look like it’s impacted and her posture is good unlike Yamagumo which kinda looks like she is leaning over to the side or something. Eh. Whatever.
4. Matsukaze
Hmmm, another new destroyer from the Kamikaze class that was map clear reward of E2. Matsukaze looks alright and I must say, a vast improvement over her sisters, at least in mai opinion. Sporting a nice kimono and western style boots and even a top hat, this lady’s got class. I might end up leveling her for fun but in the end most of these trophy destroyers are so useless, wish they did something that made it worthwhile to level them up. Ahwell.
3. Zuihou
I honestly wasn’t expecting to get this boat during my runs of E3 but it happened. Zuihou isn’t even listed as a valid rare drop for any of the nodes of E3 but somehow she did for me. I thought she was only LSC? Whatever, dunno but it’s good shit. I don’t like carriers in general. I especially don’t like light carriers even more because they are so shit and blow up so easily. But either way it’s always good to have more light carriers that don’t look like shit and from what i gather, Zuihou is a pretty good light carrier. You will be my #4 light carrier, after Ryoujou, Whale, and Stern looking girl that wears white and has her mouth open, whatever can’t remember name.
2. I-14 “Iyo”
Ah yes, the clear reward for E3, the sub I-14 or “Iyo”. Designed by God Shizuma Yoshinori; as usual he has produced an excellent design for a class of boat that I don’t really give a shit about, subs. In fact, the only other sub that I really liked before this event was U-511/RO-500 and her loli potential that simply could not be matched and the fact that strike witches designer made her. Well this time we have I-14 and the design is great. The tight swimsuit, the cute jacket shirt with the cutout that exposes her boobs, that cheerful smile and lewd damaged art which showcases her ass and boobs from sideview, the funny silly looking hat, one fingerless glove, sandal-like shoes and a nice happy cheerful smile. Yes, this is a formula for success boat God. I have no complaints and is a fitting clear reward for an event that was pretty alright.
1. I-13 “Hitomi”
Normally the last map clear boat prize would be the best waifu but this time it’s different. We have twins this time. Twin subs that is and I-13 or “Hitomi” takes the prize as best boat waifu from this event. Why? Do I need to explain it? Fuck. Just look at those design, Hitomi is basically the exact same as Iyo except her personality is much more mysterious and calmer, less hyped compared to her sister but also much more lewder in a sense. Just look at that damaged art. Fuck. I wish all the boat girls damaged artwork was that revealing and lewd, it would give admirals more incentive to get certain boats. But besides from the obviously superior 10/10 A+ damaged art compared to I-14, Hitomi was a fucking boss drop. A BOSS DROP. SHIT. So I cleared that shit, got Iyo, then had to keep on doing runs to get this masterpiece. It might be worth nothing that I got 3 Amatsukaze and 3 Hatsukaze in the process of farming for I-13, 3 and I even got duplicates of the some of the Gumos I already had which subsequently were recycled immediately. But in anycase, I’m loving these twin sub girls and while they should technically be both waifus, there can only be one, and for me it’s I-13 “Hitomi”.
