So far this batch looks good, I’m going to watch Hinako Note for sure and maybe a few others, all very full of fantasy but with a decent spin. I’m actually surprised that there is almost no gay shows or superbad shows yet like last seasons Hand Shakers. Hm…
Tsugumomo – Some gay boy has a dead mom and the only thing that he has left of her is this piece of cloth that apparently is a komono or something, ye. So anyways the spirit of some girl eventually developed within the piece of cloth and now she took form when the boy got attacked by some demon wig or something. So piece of cloth = spirit of some girl and become a real girl. Following me? Ye, whatever, so anyways more tropey bullshit continues and ya, it’s hinted at that the girl is like the gay boy’s mom spirit or something of the sort. Ye, makes sense I guess. So anyways this is a comedy, action baity kind of fare that only the most UN-educated and naive of anime watching fans would even bother with. It’s not bad, but painfully nothing special about it either. Decent designs, the main cloth girl has long blue hair and sports kimono but that’s about it, the boy is S tier level fag so that automatically disqualifies this show for me. Done before, kinda reminds me of Kannagi from way back when except much more shitter and try to do some battles animations. Nope, moving on.
Hinako Note – This is is. This is what I have been looking for all season. A mutherfucking S tier slice of life comedy moe show with super cute animu waifus and rock solid premise/formula bound for success. So I heard you liked “Is the Order a Rabbit?”, “Lucky Star”, “Anne Happy” perhaps even “Non-Non Biyori” or maybe even last season’s “Gabriel Dropout”? Well then, this shit’s for you bitch. So it’s like this, the main girl comes from the country going to move to the big city for school. Cool cool, generic enough. So anyhow, she has a usual problem, can’t talk for shit to people and has a tendency to become a “scarecrow” when she gets nervous which basically means she just stands there frozen with her arms held up looking dumb. This is ok. So yea, she goes to the place where she is staying, a hybrid bookshit/coffeeshop with each side having their own cute moe girl roommate. Ok, so we got 3 now. Good good. They later meet their landlady, which is just an older student who is a drama club member. Main girl would love to join the drama club but it’s currently on hiatus cause teacher is gone or whatever. So anyways, they decide to create a new club for drama just for them thus setting the premise of future funny and more cute girl characters to be introduced. Yes, this is good, exactly what I wanted. All of the girls are very cute and have their own unique personalizes and of course satisfy their set archetypes, all of which are also funny. The character designs are all excellent and the animation is top notch. While they technically are realistically porportioned by anime standards, the show makes use of ample chibi and super deformed versions of the girls, and when I say that that’s a good thing, at least for a show of this kind. What else is there to say, this show is on point and will definitely be watched.
Kabukibu! – Some fags want to start a Kabuki club at school. Literally Kabuki Club, taking a cue from OG slice of life show K-On! except making the cast full of gay bishonen boys and one super wussy fag that acts as main. It’s one thing to do a show about school clubs, but it’s another to do it about a subject that most probably dont’ give a shit about unless your really really japanese or hardcore weeb japanophile traditional culture level tier. It’s just not appealing, only for women, truly, only for Japanese women. Even then, you would probably have to watch out for them cause they too real and serious about this shit. Like, Rakugo was a good shit from what I watched a few eps; it had style and shit, good execution and presentation. This is just gay K-on Kabuki, and it’s blatantly obvious. As usual all of the boys to be recruited into the club are all better both in appearence and personality than main fag, so ye, expected. Decent animation, horrible premise that noone gives a shit about, but i suppose fills the category of “surely there must be an anime about X”. Bad, whatever.
Re-Creators – Oh shit, this is some crazy dope shit potential here. For a name this Re-Creators, it’s hard to tell what this show is about but in essence from what I gather it’s a action, mecha, fantasy, sci-fi thriller, mild comedy kind of show. It really hits everything in some regards and it does it very interestingly. So the premise is like this, we got Gee, I can’t remember his name, but the main boy is Gee cause he feels like a “Geek” mutherfucker. Focus on Gee, he’s just a normal boy, going home from school, gets home, opens up his computer and tablet/painter to a blank canvas, wants to draw some shit but comes up empty and ends up checking up on his favorite anime show, notes that the latest episode is out and picks up his tablet to watch. He watches his animu and in it there are 2 girls fighting, the main girl in a mech fighting some solider with military clothing girl. They have magic and shit and the battle is intense. Boy notices his screen is fucking up a bit, gets blue screen of death which is bullshit since it’s either android or apple tablet but anyways boy ends up inside the anime show and after some shit and talk, for some reason gets transported back into his world with of course the main girl from the anime. Ok, you see where this is going right? After the usual formalities and confusion between Gee and main girl with pink hair and swords, the bad girl from the anime also shows up and says a few words and they fight. Some more action scenes with really really nice and smooth animation ensues and another girl shows up to save Gee and main girl, forcing army girl to retreat. Some words are said and end episode. Well then, that was kinda different. It’ll be interesting to see where this show is going since it’s obviously a serious show; I can only assume that the characters in various anime become self aware of their predetermined fate and want to go into the “creators” world to find the authors/artists that made them and change the story or whatever. Something like that and Gee and main girl have to stop them or else shit gets fucked up I guess? The animation of the show is pretty good, really cool effects and the character designs are solid, with the army girl bad guy being especially good. Probably deserves look again to see at least the op sequence since it wasn’t in for ep 1. Not bad, we’ll see if watch more.
Makeruna!! Aku no Gundan! – Some stupid mini show shit about aliens invading earth. Main alien is all like, gotta collect all the humans on earth so I can kill them, how hard can it be? Tells minion to do it. Comes down to earth and minions are all like, er yea boss, we gathered all the humans in one place but there is 7 billion of them, do you really want to kill them all? End episode. Whatever, hitler approves of this show since it involves invading and rounding out undesirable lifeforms to be killed. Nope bad ugly shit only for retards.
Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho – Hmm. This show is kinda different, but not unexpected. To quickly summerize this thing, it’s basically Fist of the North Star/Berserk meets bugs bunny and any sort of magical show that involves a OP witch girl. Yea, that’s the best I can describe it. So we got a wolf-man right, yes, a wolf-man, an anthropomorphic wolf man, he is your Kenshiro type character with a sad past of discrimination because he’s a man-beast and shit but a nice dude. He’s journeying for some reason, not really specified. Anyways, the show tells me that beast people were a result of witches in the past from fucking some shit up with normal humans with a curse and making them into slaves for their army to fight. So till this day in this fantasy world 2 normal people have the small chance to give birth to a halfman wolf beast thing. Ye, that’s our main dude. Wolfman, fur and wolface and all. So yea, understandably normal humans don’t like witches and beast things cause yea, history and are always hunted for great reward and shit. Wolfman gets some shit on him and runs when he’s discovered in town, he eventually bumps into some girl in the forest. Mild funny ensues and beastman runs away, pretty fast from her when she finds out she is a witch a la Max Mad superspeed motion, jokes. Some more shit happens and girl finds him again, girl introduces herself as a witch then another noob fag witch pops up and attacks the pair. Boy gets owned badly and the girl asks him how did he learn magic. Boy is like, I learned everything from this amazing book written by the famously powerful wizard; Zero. Of course you know what’s next; the girl IS Zero. Dat boi, got told so hard. Yea, agreement is made between wolfman and Zero to travel together to help her find some shit or else they are all dead. The End. Yea. This show isn’t really my thing. Furry shit isn’t my thing, especially male furry. Agh. If there’s one redeeming factor is that the character designs are by Lord Shizuma Yoshinori, best designer of the best boats in Kancolle. Fuck. Zero girl is basically shimakaze with wizard clothes and minus the boat factor. Kind of torn. Decent animation, pacing and concept. Ok. I probably won’t watch this but you never know.
Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka? – Holy shit mutherfucker. What the hell is up with the length of this show’s name? FUCK. As wiki and sources tell me this shit translates into “WorldEnd: What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us?”. WHAT THE FUCK WHY? I blame Orimu for starting this stupidly long title name trend, which is especially horrendous in light novel adaptions, which what this anime is based off of. Fucking might as well call this show “The last human: 500 years in the future, a single man and his harem of supernatural monster-like waifus that are superweapons and of him care taking a younger generation of loli superweapons and how it changes him for the better? Or for the worse? A tale of happiness, tragedy and what it means to be alive.” Yea, that is what this show is about. To sum it up in slightly more detail, dude is in the future, apparently he is immortal or something cause in the future of this fantasy world all humans are dead after a war that happened 500 years ago and the only remaining civilization, the winners of the war I am assuming are these anthropomorphic humanoid like beast-people, literally the opposite of that Zero show I just talked about. Fucking furry is the status quo majority here in this world. Prior to the story actually rolling you see something of a 30 second clip of action and magic beams or shit in the sky fighting with shit action, then cuts out. Show starts off focusing on a girl with blue hair wandering the town, looking like a normal girl. She gets discriminated against cause she has no fur or animal ears. Main dude comes to her rescue and saves her, then shows her around time in a date like montage sequence that lasts for like 5 minutes. After a wonderful day of adventure, the blue haired girl has to part ways as it seems like she is being picked up by guards or whatever. Main dude goes to tavern to get a job, jew orc is all like hey I got this job, take it, all you have to do is caretaker these weapons for the military for awhile. Guy is like man, no but jew orc eventually convinces him. Dude goes that night to where he has to be. The military place turns out to be a nice looking mansion kind of estate. Surprize surprize, the blue haired girl in town is there along with a pack of little girls. She eventually tells them that they are the super weapons; wut? Ok. Dude also meets a hot troll girl maid which he happened to know already from the past, not specified. Trolls huh? I wonder what creatures are the girls then? Vampires, faeries maybe? Who knows. The production value of this show is higher than normal and it certainly shows in that 30 second action sequence at the beginning. The girls are fairly attractive and well designed; very colorful hair indeed. Main dude is not a fag, at least not yet. maybe watch more but we’ll see. These kind of shows more often than not start off well but midway becomes a convoluted clusterfuck so maybe I can spare myself the effort and not watch but I do kinda want to learn more. We’ll see.
More to come, a few more, almost there…
