Alright then, this is it; the final day of Anime North 2017. Saturday was pretty tiring so I kept it low impact on Sunday, what I usually have done in past years. Morning = go around dealers/artists alley. Afternoon = go to hotel and see some shit. Evening = Go back to dealers/artists for any last buys. This last batch is majority cosplay photos and hence for some reason has the most photos around so ya so without further ado, let’s wrap this shit up.

Got there pretty early. So empty. So empty that the food concessions were just setting up outside. A+ for artisty photo.

Lineup to buy tickets. I think this is like 7:30am so ye, even these crazies get up early to buy.

Inside dealers area we have the infamous adult-booth that has been around now for a couple of years selling legit doujin and other related lewd books. Cool cool, too bad they overprice the shit out of their warez. Thin ass paper book with like 30pages is $22 and when it comes to buy they say that will be $35 dollars cause of tax and CDN conversion. Pretty bullshit business practices but seriously what do you expect? If you want it you want it, and that’s all there is too it really.

Navito World, the “official” re-distributor of good smile company figures and it’s family of sub-companies has the same booth as last year occupying a considerably sized corner. Once again, expensive shit and they mark the items up as well.

Looking at Harry T’s from a distance. Arrrgg there be deals to be had in that here booth.

Look at this shit. $9.95 per pound on paper at Harry T’s? You mean shit is pay per weight? Holy shit. Well not that good actually because by the time the third day came around all the good well-known and popular titles/books have already been picked up. On Saturday they had the buy 1 get 2 free offer which I thought was pretty good aswell cause of better selection.

Mandatory seller that has boob mouse pads. Recently there have been a few with ASS mouse pads. Hmm..not really feeling those one, it doesn’t work that well to me.

Oh Hay another pro artist that has taken his business into the dealers room that can’t be bothered by corruption of artist’s alley. Man this guy has a lot of shit. I’ve seen this dude around for a while now, never brought anything from him however but he’s obviously making tons of dough.

Tons of Live Love! Sunshine trading/Prize figures on display and for sale. You normally win these from UFO catchers in Japan and can sometimes be pretty rare. OR..you just say fuck it and buy it outright from a reseller/third party store like here. The quality is decent for prize figures and I think they are selling them for about $60, which is reasonably cheap.

More trading prize figures. This seller does a good job at showing what the hell is inside each box, which is great for buyers.

Pretty good cosplay of original Idolmaster girl Miki Hoshii and yes I had to look her name up because shit; I only know the Cinderella Girls. I originally thought that she was cosplaying as  Rika Jougasaki but looking at her now I know that is not the case. Too bad she didn’t want to show her face with the plushie. Ahwell good job either way.

I think there’s a rule that says you can’t take cosplay photos inside the dealers/artists building. Whatever, most people did it anyways and another good DVA at that. B+

Oh Hay it’s Cardo Captor Sakura and her wand thing selling as an artists. It’s always weird when you someone behind the artists table cosplay, even weirder still if you ask them for a photo and they are like wut? You draw shit? You cosplay? You deserve a photo. B+

Nice black jesus afro I can only assume. Black people. Must be standing around checking out that one-punch man print. Thought real hard about buying a print from this artist but opted not too. Probably will see her again anyways since she’s good.

Oh shit it’s a Shimakaze! Looking pretty good. This is one of the few boat cosplays that I have seen done by a white girl since boats isn’t exactly mainstream. Strange but not unsual. Probably just did it because it looks cute and sexy not knowing the franchise or character at all…cosplayers have been known to do that from time to time…should have taken off her nose rings tho, the tattoo I can live with. A- regardless cause Shimakaze.

I do not know where this is from but the girl is a cat girl and she is cute so there’s that. Good enough B.

Oh wow, it’s Yoko from Gurren Laganan! Holy shit I feel old. It’s hard to believe that this show is already 10 years old and aired back in 2007. FUCK. A+ cosplay however, extra points because of the gun, nostalgia and bravery required to pull off this cosplay.

Not entirely sure about this one. I think left is a skin of League Soraka..the other two are from…Vikings tv show? Either way anything with weapons is good in my books. B

Pretty well done Umaru from Himouto! She even got the coke bottle going her, her favorite drink! Only think that’s off I think is the fact that her wig is orange…supposed to be blonde but whatever close enough. Great expression too. -A

Holy shit is this cosplay good or what. It’s Sena from Haganai! The busty blonde funny rich girl that is probably the best girl in the show with her gameu. When I asked her for a photo I was already impressed but when she busted our her DS and stroke the hair pose I was like holy shit she is doing an outstanding cosplay. Accurate uniform, good wig job, accurate white girl/accurate to story. Bang on pose. A++

Hmm…I think this saber might have some regrets..in regards to a number of things…well, just the armor mainly. Shit. A few inches to hard and bulky there saber. Sword is spot on cool  and the cape is extra cool…just wish that she wasn’t so…bulky and…wide. C+

Don’t know what this shit is but if you have swords and full body armor with a mask then you warrant a photo. B?

I suppose this is DA BOMB. Fucking bomberman good times. I have no idea who the partially blown up girl in the uniform is however. Did they just add that for no reason or is there really schoolgirls in bomberman now? Gotta get back to this shit one day for nostalgia.

Hurray! Another boat cosplay and it’s carrier Akagi! She looks kinda damaged tho, gotta give her that bucket to repair. Guess that’s why she’s been holding it for like 9 hours i guess, take that look to repair. I am not entirely sure if this is a women or man but this Akagi’s face was painted white, almost like a geisha so I would say women. Not sure why the white paint was done however. A

I guess someone didn’t get the memo that this was an ANIME convention and the lord of the rings fairy and wizard association with Dumbledore. Nevertheless for bravery and effort A.

Didn’t think I would see more touhou cosplay but I did. Looks like Yukari and Yuyuko, the boss characters from TH whatever I forgot and most reconigable out of the main characters. Good shit. Yukari might be a man but who cares, great job. A

Oh look it’s the “Master Class” blaziken pokemon cosplay that I saw in the show on Saturday night. A- because now that I see her face it’s kinda aging.

Took so many photos today and it’s already lunchtime. Gotta lineup to get some grub.

Hot dog and fries, surprisingly affordable. Hot dog was like $3.75 and fries was like $3.50. Shit is actually pretty tasty and pretty cheap. Poutine for some reason is like $8 although I assume they give much more fries in a big box.

Pretty decent Ahri from League. The photo that I took was pretty dark and shit, couldn’t even see her face and all that. Tried my best to adjust the lights and darks shadow to be reasonably ok.  Think it went well.  League is dying but the characters still remain. A

Looking good there frieza. Too bad your not in perfect form for some over 9000 level fun. B+

Pretty decent Ashe from League. If I am not mistaken I think this girl is brown? Not sure, either way pretty good. B+

OH YES. It’s Snow White and friends from Magical Girl Raising Project (Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku). If there was one thing that was good about this show it would be the character designs and clothes. Excellent designs, great job on the cosplays as well. A

Yes. More boats is always good. Even better so since this Hibiki is a dude. A+ for bravery and accuracy, although could have gone the extra mile and done with real girl dress shoes. Nice Wig.

OH BOY. If it isn’t Ragna from Blazblue, it’s been a while since I saw you around. Good shit, well done all round in every way. Kinda surprised that there isn’t more blazblue or even guilty gear cosplay for that matter. I told him that he was the first blazblue cosplay that I’ve seen all convention, but he said there were a few more around. Gotta get on that GG train be be Sol or something. A+

Unlike that magicarp titan cosplay the other day this girl has got it done right. Excellent uniform, wig and pose, boots too. As one of the blonde girl characters in the show you really can’t go wrong with this A+

Oh look another Futaba from Persona 5, such a relatively easy and effective cosplay. I think this one is better than the first one that I took a pic of. If Futaba was real I can fully imagine her to be like this but well, except less boobs. A+ cause boobs. Must be hot in that jacket tho.

When over to the hotel building to see what was going on Sunday. Usually I watch the AMV recap but since I saw most of it on Saturday decided to check out some dude ranting about how great magical girls/witches in anime are and how they relate to goddess and ancient stories of mythology and such. It was not bad, dude was SUPER hype and enthusiastic and was a well speaker. Would sit in to rest again.

Making my way back and check out that large crowd. See this Dragon maid cosplay of cute loli dragon Kanna but she was too busy taking her own photos of some women dressed up as gay boys so yea, I didn’t want to bother her. There was actually a lot of Kanna’s around but I didn’t get a chance to take pics of them. Too bad I didn’t get to see the LEGENDARY MANLY COSPLAYER http://imgur.com/a/Hsbv9 which has done other waifus in the past such as Hestia.

More Hero Academia but this time with frog girl and main wuss guy. NOT BAD AT ALL. PRETTY GOOD i’d say overall. For some reason frog girl is very popular. I don’t really understand it but yea, she is good. A

I honestly didn’t know what this shit was but I was told later that this is apparently a character acting out a scene from popular indie game Undertale which is overall very popular. Nice effort.

Oh shit it’s Ranko Kanzaki from Idolmaster Cinderella girls! Top gothic lolita girl and top chuunibyou character overall from the serious. Very popular character and this girl did a fantastic job with her clothes and hair. My actual picture of her sucks so I did was I could to brigten it up a bit, still a shitty photo but yea my bad. You can see some phat Love Live! Nico on the left I think as well. A++ level

Walking back to dealers room. Can’t help but to notice this white dude’s long as braided dreadlocks. Wow what the fuck? What a rasta badeemon. A+

We have this nice tall dark and handsome idolmaster fan with the cute plushies on his head. Sporting the faux wota uniform and shit. Idomaster 9th anniversary huh? Yea i guess it`s been that long. A+

I belive this is the same couple of touhou cosplayers that I took earlier but with a Remilia in the center this time. Good shit A+

Another overwatch cosplay with DVA and Mercy. This is probably the best i’ve seen all convention. Both excellent cosplay and most importantly, they are are hot. A++

So we got a masked Sonico and furry Miku? Good enough. A+ for accurately padding her boobs to Sonico’s character specifications. For furry Miku? Not so much.

Oh shit, we got an Overlord cosplay. We got Lord Momoga or whatever Ein El Coon or whatever scully face man. It’s a bit unrefined but because he’s the only one gotta give this dude some credit, especially since most people would opt to go with a mask. This dude is rocking the face paint so that’s pretty brave. A+ for unique effort.

I have been told that these are character from indie game Undertale. Just goes to show you that anything goes for cosplay and the testament of how popular that game is for youth.

Looks like someone forgot that this is AN and not Fan Expo. But either way, I acknowledged the Captain and sent him on his way with good wishes. D- too real.

Final hour before convention ends in artists alley. It’s always sad to see someone having given up already and packed up all their shit to go home early. Empty table = empty wallet = wallet full of tears.

I think this artist was a victim of having too good a competition on the left and right. Fucking probably got owned so hard, they vanished.

Oh look, it’s Lord scullyman or whatever from earlier making some last minute purchases at some artist’s with questionable display and quality.  Thow in a few random cosplay and Asian girls in the back and it’s perfect.

Fucking sitting down reflecting on how there is no boat art in artists alley and then just realize the dude in front of my has some. Shit. Horrible display bro. I originally asked for 3 prints but in the end I only ended up with one. Fucking guy is not even the artist and couldn’t find one of the prints I wanted so i said forget it, just one print. His loss, his handicap for his artist friend.

Anime North 2017 is over, making my way out along with the rest of the masses.

Great blue sky. Interesting to see what people brought on their way out. Some plushies artwork and big ass figure haul shit.

Last cosplay photo of the convention and of course it’s a combination of Overwatch character/DVAs mech and some black girl and maybe a Ahri skin from league. Maybe. Not bad. C- cause seen too much Overwatch already.

And there we have it, all of the event photos worth taking a look at for Anime North 2017 Sunday. Shit. I took alot more photos than I did the other days, probably due to the fact that there was nothing else for me to do, which is fine I suppose; I like taking cosplay photos it’s fun. Maybe it’s just me or my boat/interests/bias but for some reason I think today was a better cosplay day than Friday and even Saturday. I was able to see quite a lot of touhou and kancolle cosplay, even idolmaster; pretty good ones that I haven’t seen on the previous days either. Got alot more dealers room pics as well for a general idea of how shit went down. All in all I enjoyed going to all 3 days of the convention with each day having it’s own pull or merit. Would I do it again? It depends if friends are available or if there is something that I can only do on a certain day, but unless those criteria are met, probably not. I am content with just going one day to get my fill. Plus shit is pretty tiring. FUck.

Overall good shit, tiring but good experience and fun times were had so that’s good stuff for me.
