Shit, this next batch of show’s isn’t faring all that better than from Part I and Part II, it seems like in every 7-8s show I watch, maybe 1 or 2 will be decent or even good. Same for this batch being probably Principal Princess and Action Heroine Cheer Fruits. Summer is just too gay full of romance man, shit.

Konbini Kareshi – If your a certain level you can kinda get what this show is about just by looking at the name of it’s title; konbini = convenience store, shit. So yea, with that in mind the first think I thought was oh shit yea maybe another dagashi kashi. Of course the first 40 seconds into that was easily dispelled based purely on the tone and what I was seeing, some dude running around town trying to desperately get to a destination, no doubt the convenience store of the title as it implies where he meets some girl. Yep, throw that wish out the window, looks like this is another sentimental sappy melodrama filled with mistakes of youth and other such fare. There are of course main characters and couples and that shit but in essence what brings everyone’s lives together is the common route of going to the konbini to get shit or whatever. This could have been a good show if they didn’t run with the whole romance akward youth shit, I can’t even really remember any of the characters except one couple, which are a side couple between a douchey cool soccer guy who is trying to get the quiet student coucil pres (of course) but resists or whatever. If this show was funny it would be good or doesn’t take itself seriously it could ave been good but nop, this sentimental shit is serious. Garbage. Bad idea, forgettable character designs, good premise, horrible execution and tone.

Shoukoku no Altair – So I heard that there isn’t enough anime series or stories about old school classical brown people or at the very least middle east or Persian/Arabic people, well this anime should fix that even though the main guy is full on blonde hair and shit, he’s Persian I guess so that’s a pass. So this is another supposedly epic tale of war and politics which doesn’t really interest me much but the least I can do is sum it up the best I can, which goes something like this: Boy is having hard times, parents dead due to terrorists attacks from shit, kid grows up, wanna be part of ruling government or “pasha” or whatever, something like an official, shit happens, country might go to war, boy can’t handle it, get’s triggered, wants to find another way, launches his own terrorist attack but fails, something about a random or else war with other country, boy foils the plan, it was all a ruse, boy is a hero but that’s just the beginning of his tale to greatness…wooooooooooo….THE END. Yea, not for me. The quality of the animation and character designs is pretty good for it’s Arabic theme with the puffy clothes and turbans, sand rendered very well. Yea, not for me, boring pass.

Ballroom e Youkoso – WOOHOO another one to add to the “I can’t believe there’s anime of this shit” list. A anime about ballroom dancing. Shit. So it’s like this, we got Satoshi, why? because he’s a nameless wuss that gets bullied because he looks like a wuss. So anyways Satoshi is shit and has no confidence and no direction in life, can’t even fill out his MIDDLE school’s application form for his choices on which high school he wants to go to, get’s lectured by his homeroom teacher in teacher’s lounge.  Get’s a bit happy when he sees the beautiful student council president girl speaking to her own homeroom teacher about the same thing, not filling out the form yet as well. Hope boy is hopeless. Thinks they are the same. Not really. Anyways Satoshi gets bullied on his way back home but is then rescued by some gangster looking guy who rides a motorcycle, he is a ballroom dancing teacher and asks him maybe if he’s interested in learning since his school is literally right there. Satoshi is at first hesitant but decides to take a peek and sees a lot of people practicing ballroom dancing, he gets a little excited when he sees student council president girl there as well; gangster guy suggested to say maybe try dancing with her since they are about the same age. Student council president is all like, “I know why you are here, you’re just here to be a perv and get a chance to touch and get up close to girls”, boy is all like, no, that’s not what I intended but girl continues and is like “I saw you at the teacher’s lounge, don’t think that we are the same kind of person” kind of thing with the last line triggering Satoshi because he realizes that he had been wrong, pres is nothing like him, who is useless, dumb and confused while pres is smart and can go to any highschool that she wants because of her good grades. Boy leaves in tears running as a result of this talkdown. Next day he is committed to wanting to “CHANGE” and begs the teacher to give him dancing lessons despite that he has no money. Teacher guy kinda accepts conditionally but doesn’t really believe he will be dedicated and follows through with it. Teacher teaches him some shit moves and tells Satoshi to do it until he tells him to stop. Teacher guy falls asleep. Wakes up in the morning and dat stupid boy is still dancing, fool has been going at it for like 9 hours straight. WTF. President girl just so manages to walk in and witnesses his practice and says that he is alright, very stupid but alright, has some potential and acknowledges his effort. Teacher is like, fine, I will show you more dumbass. Satoshi is happy because cute girl spoke to him and is going to change, with dance. The End. Yea. I dunno, not for me; the character designs and animation of the show are alright, they get really tall and elongated necks and arms/legs when they do dance scenes but the lines are very crisp and defined. Good. Student coucil president girl is attractive and look good problem is that Satoshi looks like shit, not the worse but still shit. Another show ruined by male protagonist fail.

Hitorijime My Hero – A show that has the word “Hero” in it is always promising but unfortunately this is not what you think it is. This is basically a shit show about some guy that is kind of a loner but ended up hanging out with a bunch of hooligans for companionship for the lack of a better word. He was essentially the errand boy and he didn’t mind it. When dude finally got into high school he didn’t really want to associate with those gangster anymore and try to start fresh. He always wondered if there were heroes and shit and there was this rumor he was hearing about some “killer bear” or whatever person beating up gangster and hooligans in the name of jusice and good etc. So boy, don’t even wanna give him a name starts highschool but on the first day his old crew shows up at the end of the day to fetch him and he wants to run away and hide so they can’t see him. They see him and they run, then they bump into the “killer bear” guy or whatever of street legend and he beats the gangster up, they run away. Apparently killer bear guy is the big brother of one of his friends from schools or something. Ok whatever. Next day, killer bear is all like, yo, i’m gonna be your math teacher starting today. The End. Yea, this is shit. I’m not sure who this is for but probably women. Shit premise, boring, ugly designs and not even a strong gay theme, not even for women then. Bad.

18if – This fucking show. This quite possibly is the worst show of the season. Holy shit, where to begin. So we start of with some ugly looking fag boy in some room with crazy shit going outside his window. Boy wakes up and realizes some shit, then goes and then dies or whatever. Before this we see a giant looking blonde magical girl doing some shit and talking with stuffed animals and casting spells and shit playing. I am assuming the girl is Alice, a la Alice in wonderland. I think you know where this is heading. So anyways after more crack scenes with horrendous pacing, we got back to teh boy and he is all like, where am I, goes outside his door again and is run over by a bunch of rabbits and the white rabbit. He dies again. Wakes up in the same room and shit, and continues this process for a few more times. Ends up meeting some cat thing, voiced by Dio Brando guy and they last a bit longer, tells them we gotta see the witch. Ok, so he dies again but eventually gets to the giant Alice witch girl. Some shit happens and they get turned into cake and talking stuffed animals. Boy gets killed again, doesn’t give a shit. Alice is not having fun, is getting angry. Boy is all like, fuk dis, this is a dream, you know that right to Alice. Then Alice gets a flashback of what’s really going on, in the real world she is a meek nice girl but classmates bully and tease her such as daring a popular boy to confess to her but it was just a joke, headfake feels so embarrassed because she took it seriously, so sad, the worst; alice girl gets ruined and runs away, becomes hikkomori and ends up in a coma because it’s so devastating. Some words are had in dream world from the gayboy and Alice turns back into the nice meek girl and disappears implying that she woke up from her coma. The boy and the talking cat are all like, wow you special son; THE WORLDDDDUUOOO!! and the episode ends, implying that this dude is going to do more stupid ass dream inception shit. Show is horribly confusing, horrible concept, horrible character designs and animation, horrible premise, horrible pacing and flow, horrible story, horrible people, horrible main character, horrible title, THE BEST MALE VOICE ACTOR WASTED ON THIS GARBAGE. So shit, worst this season.

Boku no Hero Academia – Continuing on after the “tournament” arc, Hero Academia is looking to continue on with the story with our hero, cryboy and everyone else in hero school going to do internship co-op placement with other professional heroes and shit. Sounds good, based on the introduction there is actually going to be plot advancement and bad guys actually doing something now. Hopefully it will be good. Quality is up to par with previous seasons and decent opening sequence. Continue to follow.

Princess Principal – The name of this show may fool many as one may think it could be a slice of life or comedy, but neither of those two are true as this is actually a serious show. So in some strange alternate history steampunk early 20th century England, shit has went done and the country has been divided into two separate country and have been at war with each other for some time. It’s kinda interesting but honestly can’t really remember off that top of my head what they explained it as. But anyways, the show starts off with high action with some girls chasing some dude in glasses, the dude himself is running away from the police. One of the girls, Ange, which I can assume is the main character of the show confronts him and manages to do some magical steampunk shit and get away. Ange is pretty pretty, sliver hair and kinda cool/cold persoanlity. After getting away she meets up with her comrades in a car and they drive off to escape, they go to their school to hide the guy. Dude is like, yo, why I am at a school, and the girls is like, no shit, it’s cause we go here. The real answer however is that they are actually spies for the other country. It’s not immediately known which side they are no but yea, spies. The “Princess” is then introduced as also being a spy in the group of girls. Some shit happens and they end up wanting to bring the guy back to their side across the border, after some fighting and chaos the spy girls notice something is up and they change their plans. Ange, sliver haired girl tells the dude that the jig is up, and that he was trying to set up them and he is actually not a defector, but still working for the other side and this ambush was all planned. Ange is all like, before I kill someone I usually have them sign this contract and gives the paper to the dude, guy is like, damn, I never had a chance did I? Ange is like, nop, please sign. Dude signs and then Ange shoots him multiple times. He is dead. Some time later it is shown that the paper is actually signing up for life insurance and his beneficiaries when killed and it’s shown that the dude’s little sister who is in the hospital for some shit is to get the life insurance money. Wow, Ange spy assassin is so kind. The End. The show itself is and it’s production quality alone can hold it’s own but since the characters are all beaufuilly designed cute  girls and animated well make this already a good prospect. The concept is nothing new but still has enough fresh spin to make it interesting, good pacing and storyteling flow. The designs remind me of New Game, maybe the same studio or character designer did the designs for this show? Not sure but it’s good. Will watch more, good shit.

Action Heroine Cheer Fruits – Long story short this is a show similar to locodol or even continuing previous season’s anime Sakura Quest, involving girls, town revitalization and tourism with a bit of idol fun and comedy. So it’s like this, Heros shows like power ranger sentai shit is da bomb right? Well there is this one show that everyone lones, let’s just call it sailor moon live action. Cool cool, sure sure. Well anyways there was going to be a show at a small town for sailor moon live action, everyone in the town was excited and all the kids and shit. One girl and her friend are also excited, one of them has a little sister who is a super fan. On the day of the show, sailor moon abruptly cancels, this ruins the lives of many a child, even more so for little sister super fan, she cries and despair and shit. Big sister makes a promise to get sailor moon to come back and do the show, little sister is happy now. Big sister is like, fuuukkkkk to her friend, what am I going to do. They have an idea, they are going to do their own hero show, covering an episode of the show with ghetto cardboard and ghetto props and music. Cue montage of training and making costumes, then the date finally comes and they do the show in front of little sister and a bunch of other little kids. It’s super ghetto and cringe but by the end even the little sister get’s into it, fully aware that her big sis tried her best. While this is going on, school coucil president girl watches in the shadows and ends up taking them aside; she videoed their performance and put it online, she says she wants to start a plan to help revitalize the town; no doubt creating ORIGINAL LOCAL HERO SHOWS that are not sailor moon bootlegs with new characters and shit. The End. Yea, this show is not that new concept but it’s good enough, I like local town revitalize shows, add some girls, power rangers and comedy and it’s fairly entertaining. Decent designs, good concept, done before, good pacing, still watch more.
