Next batch is here and it’s alright, some good shit some bad. So far i’m really liking Comic Girls and a few others. So far this season is fairly balanced.

Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai – Something about an exchange student who is white comes from america or foreign place something about english, ugly ass shit go to japan and live the dream. Our main boy likes to take photographs and pet cats and so he was walking around the park in the cherry blossoms then he bumped into some white girl with blonde hair that looked lost. He helped her find her way and guided her to his home which is a restaurant and served her food while she called for someone to pick her up. Some other girl comes up with red hair and is all like my lady, where did you go to, so you already get an idea that this white girl is famous/rich/important. Some mild comedy and shit happens and they leave. For some reason the boy and his friend go back outside to do shopping or whatever, see the girl and the other girl again, apparently can’t find their hotel where they are staying at. Boy points to the building beside their store, shit’s right beside them. Next day the two girls show up at boy’s school, transfer students of course. Hhahahahaha, The End. Yea this show is shit. There isn’t anything bad or noticible about it, the main girl is horrible ugly and plain looking, same thing for her friend. For once the main guy looks decently ok and competent. Yea, I don’t know who this is for shit.

Megalo Box – So we have some dude, he is a boxer and in the future world of wii-pads and techno-magical things to be the best in the boxing sport everyone wears these exoskeleton frames to increase their power and strength whatever. So yea, our main dude is like a rebel and all that and is full of shit but is super pro, doesn’t like to use the frame but he has to because of rules. So dude is like an illegal immigrant to the city of whatever and nowhere so he can’t fight in official matches, goes to the underground and makes money by rigging matches with his manager. Get’s pissed off because he has to lose on purpose to shit people even though he can own them. So yea the story continues and there is some big tournament going to be held and he wants to go but can’t, but because of some circumstances she meets the champion and they fight/become rivals. Thus the story of sport battle anime. From what I understand this is like some spirtual succesor to an old boxing anime about Joe something yea, whatever. My main problem with this show is the art, it’s kinda dated which is not a problem in itself but rather they make the lines and color/animation so muddy and fuzzy as fuck, you might think this shit was made in the 90’s or even 80’s but with modern aspect ratio. The feel and tone of the show is good but because it’s so ugly I doubt i’ll watch more, but we’ll see.

Saredo Tsumibito wa Ryuu to Odoru – Extremely edgelord type show that involves two men fighting dragons in a future world where science and magic become the same thing and all that jazz and no doubt their journey to fight some evil villain or uncover some conspiracy that is ingrained in their lives/world. Literal translation of this show is like “Dances with the Dragons” and yea you get the idea, this is for edgy women that like battle and techno fantasy. The main guy is red hair, glasses, sword thing and white long jacket, stern, worried but responsive. Secondary dude is white hair, tatoos on his face/body and is tight fitting black attire and is like calm, tribesman like stoic, wisdom of my ancestor native like character. The animation and shit of this show is decent but way too dark and lines bold. In this world there are like other people like elfs and shit that live side by side with normal folk, considering that there is dragons already it’s not a far fetch. The setting is like modern future but fantasy so yea, there are cities and cars and shit. This is not for me so yea, very boring and slow moving, try too hard to explain characters and whatever. Nope.

Comic Girls – This is an excellent slice of life comedy moe show that involves exactly what the name implies, girls that draws manga/comics. So it’s like this, the main girl is a manga artist, she is good but kinda shit in that her stories are too boring because she writes about everyday high schooler life and her editor doesn’t think it’s exciting or realistic, which is funny because she IS a high schooler living a normal life. She gets depressed because of this but her editor suggests that she move into a dorm nearby the publishing company that also houses manga artists in a sort of shared environment to help improve and get better. She agrees and is soon moving into the building of course meeting the 3 other tenants of the building and her future roommate, all cute girls of course. Her blonde roommate is cheerful and optimistic girl and draws shoujo girls manga filled with romance but can’t draw men for shit, while they both also have 2 senpais; one is a short blue haired shonen battle manga author that is cool and collected normally but gets burning with passion when she starts writing and the other girl is a long hair ponytail girl that draws porn but can’t help it lololol. Both senpais are published while the main girl and blonde girl have yet to be serialized in a magazine yet. The main girl herself has pink hair and double braids that draws cute simple girls and does 4-koma panel comics lololol but is shit because her stories are not fun and unrelated-able. lololol. This show is so good. The main girl is so funny because she cries for everything and is super weak to criticism. The character designs and art of this show is top notch, all of the girls are cute and fill their respective roles and the chemistry between the characters is solid. Lots of funny shit to be had. One of the best this season so far.

Akkun to Kanojo – Stupid ass mini show where main boy acts like she doesn’t give a shit about some girl who is always bothering him and treats him like her boyfriend when in fact he’s a fucking stalker and thinks the girl is ultra cute and loves her but for some reason doesn’t want to show his love for the girl. It’s kinda strange and the premise has kinda been done before so yea I dunno. The animation and character designs are decent, remind me of something else so I dunno, she is only 3 mintues so I’ll probably end up watching it anyways even though it’s like nothing. Maybe more funny.

Gurazeni – This…is an interesting show. It’s a show about baseball, no not your usual baseball sport show about a bunch of pretty/manly gay men doing sport battle tournament in school. NOPE, this shit is about a man, a 27 year old pro pitcher who is just trying to make a living and essentially, make as much money as he possibly can before he eventually retires from the game. Main dude has like glasses, curly hair, gruff facial hair and a bit fat but he don’t give a shit, you know why? Cause he’s left handed and in baseball that means your special even if your mediocre. Main dude constantly narrates his own actions in first person in the daily life of a pro baseball player and eventually comes down to the main reason for this show, him and his other relief pitcher buddies always read the sports earning and stats reports of who is currently up at bat and come to memorize the VALUE of each player, or rather, how much they are being paid a year. Our main guy is paid 18 million yen a year so about 170k a year USD and wants more, way more. He has quantified batters ability based on how much they are paid and knows when to step it up when a high paid guy is up to bat. That dude up at bat is 42 million a year? Shit gotta try harder. It’s a pretty interesting and different take on a baseball show, it’s more like a slice of life baseball comedy show with a very very money focused main dude. This is one of the few show’s where calling it Jew Baseball would be 100% accurate, dude doesn’t give a shit about winning or fame, just wants to keep on playing and making more money and how do you do that? You gotta get good so the team doesn’t bench you or send you back to the minor leagues lolol. Not bad show, kinda ugly but whatever, the concept if funny so maybe watch more, we’ll see.

Mahou Shoujo Site – A very edgy and goth thriller type magical girl show along the lines madoka but with a bit of a mild horror spin I suppose. So yea, like the continuing trend of brutal magical girls, the main girl is a very sad girl with long hair and red eyes that is bullied pretty badly in school. She is very weak, shy but kind to animals and cats but still gets bullied hard in school, but to make matters worse at home her big brother abuses her as well by beating her up to relieve his stresses of the pressure of his family to get the top grades in school and make it into university and such. Her parents kinda ignore her and accept the fact that she is a failure. Things are getting pretty bad at home when the computer automatically goes to a website that asks her if she wants to be a magical girl or something, yea yea, same drill but nothing happens, gets a bit scared but does nothing. Next day at school bullying continues but this time the group of girl bullies ask an older male upperclassmen to rape her and thus the struggle chase begins. She manages to get away but in the moment when she is trapped by the dude a magical heart gun appears out of nowhere and she fires it at the to-be-rapist and one of the bully girls. They both vanish but then a few moments later you hear some yells and screams. Main girl runs out of her corner and sees that both of them are gone and sees that they have been teleported to a nearby railway trains and have been killed by a train. Usual reaction begins and disbelief. Next day at school they acknowledge the 2 student deaths but the main bully girls is angry at the main girl, thinks that she pushed them on the tracks and shit, takes her to the bathroom with a knife, maybe kill/scar her face. Then all of a sudden another girl appears in the doorway and saves her, she has the ability to stop time and takes the knife and slits the bully’s throat. The two then walk away with the time stop girl saying shit like, “we need you” or something. Hmm. This show is not bad, pretty intense so far but that’s alright, I like edgy magical girls that cry blood when they use their powers. Character designs a bit on the plain side same for animation but we’ll see. Probably watch more.

Toji no Miko – Continuation of “Sword Girls” from last season. The first half of the show has been OK but it definitely has problems/flaws that I hope the last half of the show addresses. No matter what happens I’m going to finish this to the end even if it becomes a shit show. Hopefully not and it probably won’t but you never know. Designs are still excellent and the introduction sequence is ok, the first one was actually better but whatever. Continue forth.

Hinamatsuri – I found this a fairly entertaining comedy slice of life show but others may find it a mixed bag. So it’s like this, the main guy of this shit is a Yakuza gangster, he is rich and shit and lives the gangster high life buying and selling antique pots and vases for a hobby and lives in a nice rich apartment/condo. One day some big egg-like container comes in and inside it is a naked girl, she comes and is all like, sup, give me clothes. She is the kind of character that doesn’t give s shit, indifferent and apathetic. As soon as she gets out of the egg-container she displays that she has telekinesis powers and can move objects and shit around at will with her mind. Funny thing is that our Yakuza guy for some reason doesn’t really find this at all surprising and just wants to protect his vases and his home. Ends up offering girl to stay with him because she kinda forced his hand because she threatened to to just that. He signs her up to school and take her to sushi and such or else he’ll be killed. All the while he is assigned to kill a rival boss because of some shit and has to do killing reluctantly. Pyschic girl shows up and offers to do it instead, cause she was “used to it” and “taking orders from adults”. Our gud boy yakuza declines the offer and said that no kids should be doing this kind of thing and that she should just enjoy a regular normal life. Our main girl finds this special because this is the first time an adult has told her to not kill or follow orders so doyou know what she does for him? She goes and destroys the entire gang in comical physic manner. Oh boy. Anyways that’s about the end of the first episode so far i think it’s pretty good. The main dude is not a wuss and is kind of funny because he is supposed to be a gangster but is surprisingly civil and competent. The girl has like short green hair and is just entering middle school, so flat as a board. Decent character designs and animation, pacing is a bit slow but hopefully things will pick up. I hope for meta jokes from this show and odd moments. It’s a bit like Mob Psycho except with a girl and more slice of life/comedy than the former.

Devils Line – Gay vampire show for women that is pretty much Twilight anime. Main girl is normal girl, she is normal. Vampires are around, they do bad things like suck blood and shit. One day one of her closest male friends which has been friend-zoned by her since like elementary school reveals that he is a vampire and has been responsible for the recent rape/murders in the city. Says he would never hurt but then a good guy appears and stops him from getting any closer. Mysterious dude is like from some special vampire police hunting force or something to stop and prevent vampire crimes. Saves the day and kills her friend. Girl has conflicting feelings, whatever. Later on she is walking back home with the dude and it turns out she is cut, then our good boy is triggered and is all like, why you have to do that, now i’m aroused; He is a vamppire toooooo.lolololololol. So vampires hunting other vampires? lololol Twilighttttttttttttt. Yea not for me. The charcter deigns are forgettable and but the animation is ok. Theme is twilight. Not for me.
