Today, we moved to our more longer term hotel in Akihabara and is quite literally right besides Akihabara Station. In the pouring of rain all throughout the day, we did it, it wasn’t that hard but still rough since the rain just makes everything harder to do. But look at this view, this is right in front of the entrance to our hotel, if we look outside our window, we see this from above, amazing hotel and location.

Climbing up the Radio Kaikan building with it’s ten floors of hobbies, anime figures and other goods, we witness many scenes like this; random Japanese people enjoying their hobbies, in this case, checking out and chopping for cheap ass trading card game cards. Old man with the hair looking for some shit too, noice.

With lots of options for food, we decided to check one mark off our list of things to eat in Japan with this Go Go Curry location which is a little bit off from the main Akihabara main road/path. That Go Go Gorilla be charging dem primal instincts!

I haven’t ordered Go Go Curry before so it was surprising how easy it was to order since it was done via a machine ticket. They don’t have spice levels and such so that removes that option which makes things easier. Overall, pretty solid tasty and very affordable, this was only like 1000 yen, pretty cheap. I haven’t tried CoCo Curry either so looking forward to trying that as well during this trip as well!

Being in Akihabara that means you can’t avoid UFO Catchers/Crane games galore. My sister had a goal of at least winning one prize from a machine. She indeed has accomplished this goal. Let’s just say this is the first of many more to come. It was very easy to get since the folks working on it before put in work to get it so close but then left and abandoned it, leaving her free to swop down and snatch that figure with only 4-5 claw attempts. Noice prize figure of Hololive Lamy in relaxation clothes, gud shit.

All of the main popular anime franchiese and trends populate the prizes in UFO catchers today, consisting of Chainsaw Man, Spy Kids, My Hero Academia, Kimetsu no yaiba no Yaiba, ReZero etc. This white man and friends were determined to get this Pochita plush. Some say, he’s still trying right now.

Look at these boizs, oh shit, Ebi Fry and Tonkatsu huge plush. While it’s great, it’s definitely too big to bring home and costs more to play, probably why not very many people have played it I guess since it would take so much money and tries to win given it’s size…
