Summer Trip 2026 – Day 3

So we begin today’s full day on the boat at sea, there is no ports or shit to do so it’s a more chill day to do whatever activities the cruise offers to you, luckily for me, there is not a whole lot that interests me so I have ample time to explore the shit and aura farm on deck outside. Let’s see how today went.

Looking outside the porthole in our room and it’s pretty misty and foggy, you can barely seen anything outside and the boat is moving pretty fast too hmm. I can feel it.

If you are on a Disney cruise most of the food is included during your stay, all buffets and rotaional dining like Tianias yesterday. However, there is some places which you have to pay for which are not included in the price of admission, one such places is Palo, an Italian restaurant that serves only adults and has a ‘dress code’ of no shorts or shirts. I don’t give a shit so I still wore a shirt but just a sweater shacket thing, good enough.

As Palo is completely optional and only for adults, the amount of people dining at this place is considerably less, I mean, the cruise already is expensive why do you want to pay even more money? The decor is nice however and my sister and mom wanted to try this place out.

Situated on the 10th floor, which is basically just a higher level on the 9th main outdoor deck, the view is quite nice looking outside, but due to today’s weather, no so much.

Here’s the brunch menu that they offer. For $55 USD you can get anything on this menu, as much as you want so in a way it is kinda a buffet I suppose to.

My sister and mom said they were surprised that this place wasn’t more packed, I mean, this is extra cost so what do you expect.

Proof of “Pablo” existence.

“Pablo” proof of existence, which is what my mom calls this place, as she is unable for some reason to remember or pronounce properly the name of this restaurant. Pablo ok.

They served us some nice water in glasses that were slightly tinted so each had a bit of color on the bottom to make it look cool. It makes it a bit like they didn’t have them fully washed really but sure. They also offered free mimosas and bellini drinks, orange juice with sparkling wine for no extra cost, consider we already spent like $150-160 already just by sitting here for the meal.

I know it’s Italian shit but of course they have to give you bread, gotta try and fill you up you know so you don’t too much expensive stuff. The bread was whatever, the one yesterday at Tianas was better with the onion creme sauce. This is just bread with some shit.

Then our waitress came along and offered us some pastries and shit, to even further fill us up with more bread and bullshit. Guys, why are you doing this? It’s brunch but still.

Anti-pasta starter with a bunch of cold seafood and other shit. It was alright but nothing special that I couldn’t get anywhere else, even like the crab seemed like it was from the buffet.

All three of us ordered this smoked salmon eggs Benedict, it was pretty good, although I wished they gave more than just one egg.

We also ordered one of their pizzas to share too, half sausage and the other margarita. It was pretty solid good, the sausage was the better half.

After a very long wait, maybe like 20 minutes from the pizza our final dishes arrives. I order this panckes, it was alright but in the end too much bread man, could only finish like half of it.

My sister ordered these Micky waffles and some strawberry purred thing. She could not finish it either.

My mom ordered this chicken parm from the entreee menu, she also could not finish it too, maybe like 80% of it.

They gave lots of maple syrup for both of our breakfast bread dishes.

The final cost, prior tip is $165 USD ouch. Was this meal at “Pablo” worth it in terms of cost and quality? I would say no unfortunately, it was absolutely not worth the extra cost for these items. They pushed heavy bread like things on us to get full and prevented us from eating some of the more expensive items and were slow between dishes, basically trying to wear us down to leave and get full on cheap shit. We are also partly to blame for ordering pancakes and waffles but even then, $55 USD is absolutely wasted on us. They made money off of us, I would say that in terms of that $165 for all three of our brunch, we barely only ate about $20 worth of food disregarding service and labor, which was whatever. Absolutely not worth it, a scam I think, if you ever go on a Disney cruise with Palo on it, ignore it. There’s a reason why it wasn’t so busy after all.

After a mid overpriced brunch at “Pablo” my mom and sister had some other shit to do so went off. I just wandered about the 9th floor for like another half an hour or so still.

It’s super windy and cold now, so hardly anyone is around, although a few mad lad were going into the pool still, heated water but still. The sky and seas is looking better now compared to early morning but yea, we are moving pretty fast now and the wind is blowing hard.

No kids no humans, the wind killed them all. Except for mad lad me on the 10th floor.

I got some coffee and other drinks filled up and just chilled on the deck for more time, uploading photos to this site so I can write about it. I mean I have 24h or weak internet at best, gotta make use of it for the slow upload time.

Chilling by the sea alone in these long chair things, not bad. But cold tho, which is not bad for me.

I took a peak at the 4th floor theaters, there is no movies showing right now but I think the next one is Mandolorian and Grogu? Saw that shit already, not going to watch it again but we’ll see. Maybe Toy Story 5 if it’s on later on in the cruise. After this I went back to the our room and basically chilled/had a idis nap for a few hours while everyone else was doing other shit around the boat like doing crafts and getting free shit, I don’t care that much about that so sleep.

The time is now around 3-4pm I think and both my sister and mom came back to the room to rest after doing their shit after lunch. I felt a bit hungry still so wanted a proper lunch but this time wanted to try out the unlimited burger and other foods that are on the 9th floor that I saw yesterday. The first is this burger which looks kinda whatever since it does not have any condiments yet.

After some self serve lettuce, tomato, onions and mayo/ketchup, looking pretty decent now. Overall the burger is base, it’s not great nor is it a bad burger, it’s what you might get at a food fair or local burger place that is kinda mid but the price is good and quantity good so you still go back to it since it’s cheap and filling. Overall for what it is, not bad.

After the burger I felt compelled to try their shilled philly cheese steak since it was shown in the display thing. Overall not bad as well nice, I wished that the cheese was more melted tho but they lady pulled it out already pre assembled from a heating drawer so yea. The beef here is most likely repurposed meat from leftover steamship roast beef from yesterday’s lunch at Cabano buffet which makes sense really, still good. For free, it’s pretty good.

Having my late-ist lunch I took another stroll around the boat, looks like the weather is looking so much better now, cool.

The deck is still windy and shit but at least the rain is gone nice. I spent more time out here on a lawn chair just chilling playing my mobile games with my 24 hours of internet that I paid for.

The next big event for today was the broadway like live show called The Golden Mickey’s, which is a play on the golden globe awards but for disney shit. This was at like 6pm when the show started, so most people where here early to get good seats at like 5:30pm. Noice.

We all got in together and had pretty good seats. No recording or anything again but overall the show was well done, good singing and dancing, going through some of Walt Disney’s most famous iconic animated movies works, and some not so famous works in my opinion. They had songs for toy story, lion king, tarzon, snow white, beatuy and the beast, 101 dalmatians and some lesser works like the hunchback of notre dame and frog princess, rapenzel which imo are kinda weak. Surprised they didnt’ have anything from mermaid or beauty and the beast hm. Overall very good show, must watch if you are joining the cruise.

When we got back to your room our bed and sheets were clean and our housekeeping person made a duck out of towels, this is what they do here everyday. Nice.

After resting for a bit, we headed out again to our final event of the day, which was rotational dining at Triton, which is a lightly themed little mermaid/sea restaurant. We were kinda early for our slot at 8:15pm so we derped around a bit, this is a nice map of our locations that we are going to/see.

To kill more time we went into some game event thing where parents and kids played a game where the host would ask their kids/parents if what they would do it in a certain situation and or vice versa. For example, if you broke some plate, would they lie, tell the truth or deny it etc kind of thing.

This girl in front here said she would deny it, what a baller, and her dad said she would try to too lol. Nice, good to see that their parents know their kids behavior and shit.

Dinner slot time came and we went in and were promptly seated, nice to be on time, although it doesn’t change the service that much.

Proof of Triton’s existence double.

Existence from the other side proven at Triton.

As it can be seen, this place is lightly sea mermaid/arial themed. It looks nice but the lighting in inconsistent, there are some tables very dark while others are fully lit, kinda bad.

For rotational dining, your waiter and some staff follow you around. I suppose so they remember if you had preferences or allergies. I personally don’t like it but I guess some people do.

Let’s up that menu bitch up Tritons.

I had forgotten to take a photo of yesterdays place so here it is now.

They start off with some generic bread and herb bread, with some olive paste and basic butter. Basic butter is still better than the olive stuff. Ok.

Lots of little girls dressed up as princesses and the like everywhere. These here are for snow white and belle I believe. Not sure if I saw any boys dressed up as spider-man or luke sky walker tho.

The wall is ok but Arials face is a bit off I think. Triton a boss tho.

Like before we got lots of small and large plates for dinner. This one is for me it’s some duck confit pastry thing, not bad.

Some cheese burata app thing my sister got.

Some escargo with herb butter for my mom, said it was good.

All three of us got the french onion soup because we are baiters. It was honestly pretty good french onion soup, not too salty and had a nice wine/beef broth. Good shit.

I ordered this herb crusted lamb with some scalloped potatoes and brussel sprounts. Honestly cooked much better than the ones I had for the buffet yesterday but the seasoning here wasn’t as good as the buffet one, kinda weird trade off but it was still good overall. Potatoes was good and the sprouts were ok, wish they were carmalized tho.

My sister got some beef fillet minon I think, said it was better than the prime rib she had yesterday. Overall good.

My mom got some horseradish salmon, for someone who doesn’t like salmon, she ordered this because she likes horseradish. “The taste of the horseradish masked covered the taste of the salmon so that’s why I like it” Surrree I guess? Ate all of that shit.

I also got a second entree some pasta with pancetta and mushrooms and herbss, overall pretty base solid good. It could be improved with maybe some crispier and more pancetta and even some truffle if I want to be more pompous.

My sister wanted to try this rice and tablosh like bullshit vegan rice thing. Honestly it was not bad for a vegan/veg dish so if I was vegan I would be happy since there is alot of taste and texture in this dish.

Desserts I got creme brulee with some almond cracker thing, pretty good shit, probably one of the better creme brulees that I have had good shit.

My sister got a souffle, it was warm it was good she said, it was alright.

Strawberry sundae that my sister got aswell for dessert, pretty base she said, nothing special, was there for the icecream, not the chunks of cheesecake however..

Some coconut thing that my mom had, some coconut tapicoa pudding thing, she said it was good.

Overall I would say that Trions in general is better than Tianas because the food quality and variety were a bit more interesting and the dining space was more peaceful, not as much noise and live entertainment which I did not care from from Tiana’s place. Looking good, just wish that their service was a bit quicker still and the lighting better for each table.

Decided to do a bit of walking again on the fourth deck, looks like it’s pretty gray now huh. It seemed like it rained a bit. Lights are on already.

All throughout the day the boat has been moving pretty fast, much faster than on the first day and you can feel it now, the move moving and swerving to the waves and shit now. It’s not that bad to the point where I may get sea sickness as the boat is still pretty stable but who knows.

And that ends this chill first full day at sea, for me I actually didnt’ do much at all lol. I literally just slept, chilled ate food, watch a show then ate more food, then more food again. I suppose I could do more activities like my sister or mom are doing but none of the things really interest me at all, ahwell, chilling on the deck is just fine for me. Tommorow is a big day for the cruise, it’s Glacier day, where we spend most of the day trying to see glaciers up close and it will be very cool so let’s see how that goes. The boat has been hyping this day since we got on since there will also be characters and shit on the ninth floor for photo shoots and shit. Hmm, let’s see how this goes. The next couple of days post may be delayed/late because I am going to skip on internet cost and post two days in one but yea well see.
