Things That I Hate and Like
Background: The Seven Deadly Sins is something of a figure collection series by well known illustrator Nishii, who has done an abundant of work for Nitro+ most notably, DemonBane, Jingai Makyo and perhaps most famously the Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls media franchise. A number of years ago there was a lot of figures being produced for …
May 2016 Tokyo Treat box, let’s see what I got last month and have been gradually consuming since then. I actually forgot to take photos of all the stuff still in it’s box but ah-well. This box was very green, in the sense that alot of the stuff is green tea or matcha flavored; which …
Late but whatever, this is the stuff I got from Tokyo Treat April 2016. Haruna with ramen because one of the things that I got in this box was a mini Baby Star Ramen snack bowl which is kind of out of the ordinary since it’s well, ramen. I suppose it can be considered a …
As May comes to a close, so does the insanity known as the Kancolle Spring Event 2016. What was supposed to be the long awaited release of the American battleship Iowa, derived into a giant spiral of madness; at least for some admirals. At it’s very onset the event was extended past it’s original end …
Kancolle Spring Event 2016 is over and after much bitchery and rng dice rolls, I’ve managed to clear all 7 event maps on easy. Yea, once again I could have managed normal maybe but just by looking at the prizes, just not worth it really. The only thing that most people wanted was the new …
Anime North 2016. Pretty standard overall, not too good, not too bad, pretty alright, or as the swedes would call it “lagom”. Seeing as how there was nothing really super popular in the anime scene right now everyone seemed to be doing their own thing with cosplays, artists alley and whatnot, which is how it …
So I heard there are these things called loot crates that people subscribe to on a monthly basis where a person/company/or whatever sends you some shit based on what you like. I always wanted to try one of these services and it came down to either Japan Crate vs Tokyo Treat. Both are similar in …
Like most scale figures that I buy, they usually end up sitting around unopened for at least a period of time; for Tougetsu Matsuri here, it’s been about 4-5 months since I first received her. When I buy a figure, I usually justify the purchase using a variety of factors; sometimes it’s because the figure …
As February comes to a close, so does the Kancolle Winter 2016 Event. It was originally supposed to end on the 26th but was extended to the end of the month, probably due to the fact that the 26th is a Friday and no one wants to update shit on that day. Well, regardless of …
Kancolle Winter 2016 event is weird, it was both too easy and also too hard, at least for me. I steamrolled both E1 and E2 Hard easily within a couple of days with little resistance, using none of the operation Rei-Go event boats for better pathing, just my best boats and the best equips I …
